None of my cards ever worked on Stars and Entropay charges a very high fee for both deposits and withdrawals. I recommend you just pay somebody cash.

Re: Official China Thread (Macau, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, etc)
Hey I will be in Macau from July 7-22 , and was wondering if anyone had a room for rent or could point me in the direction of a cheap clean hotel/motel that would be close to the wynn and other popular poker room hotels.
Also how hard is it to bring money into Macau, how do you wire transfer to the casinos? Anybody have the number, I am coming from the united states but stopping in Thailand for a few days before going to macau. Please pm me or post info here. thanks.

If you aren't willing to stay in one of the big hotels and must stay in the Wynn area, you can walk around the Sanado Square area and find some. Walk towards Rua da Felicidade (about 10 minutes walk from Lisboa/Wynn). You can get a simple room for about $45/night.
If you can exchange money in the States, that's probably your best bet. I would put most of your money into HKD. People in Asia, especially in Macau, are very stingy when it comes to $100 USD bills (due to counterfeiting). I've had a few bills rejected for conversion because they were folded the wrong way. Avoid the hassle and bring HKD.

Re: Official China Thread (Macau, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, etc)
Probably just isolated instances, and me being unlucky, but wow there's been a lot of anti-foreigner rage in the past month.
I was down in Zhuhai two weeks ago, and was at a bar with 4 other foreigners and two of my Chinese friends, when a random Chinese guy walked up and started animatedly talking to of my Chinese friends. The random guy then left. but hung around very close to our table, only separated by a railing. He was awkwardly staring at one of my foreign friends, who then poured a glass for the random guy. The random guy knocked the glass out of his hand and starting flipping him off and yelling. When he started to reach forward, I shoved him back to protect my friend then he started yelling at me and pointing at the English on his shirt. I was quite frightened as the shirt said "lifeguard" but eventually security came to drag his ass out. Afterwards my Chinese friend explained that the random guy was angry that Chinese were talking to the foreigners and Chinese should kill all foreigners in the country.
3 Days ago I had a similar event happen in Zhongshan while eating BBQ. After telling my story to some people, a lot have had similar types of story occur in the last month. Several of my friends blamed stuff being said on Weibo after the Beijing incident last month.
Anyone have any thoughts or similar stuff happen?
