Yeah JC is right and I'm sure all my other buddies will agree, the late night hot dog carts are amazing. there is a restaurant called Rancho Viejo that is 24 hours 7 days a week that serves tacos de arrachera that is absolutely essential post bar/club food as well as mandatory once per week fix. Now that walmart, samsclub, city club, office max, office depot and home depot have all arrived, I am finding that there is nothing really I cant get here. It will be more expensive for electronics, but it is available. Everything else on the whole is significantly cheaper though.
But yes, Pichilingue beach is amazing as well as balandra, tecolote and the new corumuel with waterslides and diving board off the pier into the ocean.
I will most likely be back July 15th and others are for sure welcome. In the mean time I was able to book the room so thanks all...
email me or post here if interested for after wsop time.
Also want to mention that my house is booked, but there has been quite a bit of interest shown and one or 2 of the guys here may want to stay longer so I would be willing to assist in setting up a 2nd house. Unless you drove here (which is long but can be pretty scenic) you wouldn't have a car but everything is a 4-7 dollar cab ride away or walkable. Bikes are an option too. And believe it or not so are roller blades.
You did an awesome job selling the city. I've been super weary of mexico due to the drug wars (hearing about killings in apcapolco and such is disheartening) but this seems like it might be an awesome spot for even a non-pro guy like me.
If everyone interested in getting a new house together could PM me, that would be awesome. I'm looking to move down by early april. I'd prefer if you guys were not busto, because I want to get something between a nice and very nice pad.
talked with toocrispy and the places I posted are way overpriced. He said he could shot around to find more appropriately priced spots. The place I get hinges on how many people are committed to coming, so let me know asap. thanks guys
Thought I'd get this reposted and let everyone know house and car are available for June and Jule and room will be available end of July through infinitiy.
Hey guys, I am potentially looking for somewhere to relocate, and La Paz seems like a cool option. If anyone else in the same boat, pm me we can exchange aims/skypes to chat about it
How easy would it be for an American to get a Mexican bank account and do whatever else is necessary to be able to make withdraws from Stars and Tilt? I was planning on just playing poker for the summer, but am now looking into what my options are abroad for June and July. Would be interested in more information if it wouldn't be too difficult to get all my money out of Stars and FT and bring it back with me at the end of July.

lol the late night hotdog cars are the best, that brings back so many memories I lived in La Paz for about 4 months, that was like 6 years ago when I was 17 and reading this thread makes me want to come back so bad.
