I used to get headaches every day. Got some Topamax in Thailand and haven't had a single headache since. Do you drink a lot of caffeine? Many people have headaches because of that.

i'll keep that site in mind too, it looks clean and not much ads on it. i get headaches farely constantly but it's down to 2 things, not enough sleep and spending too much time staring at the lcd screen, i had to use f.lux to limit the blue lights burning my eyes which miraculously fixed the headache and it's free http://stereopsis.com/flux/. any thoughts on playing on ftp next month maybe under a new name/address?

the headaches got so bad in january i actually went to the dr for them for the first time since i was a kid, i told him how many i had been getting (26 days in january) and he told me i should get an MRI, i didnt have any tumors or anything and everything was normal so i got put on topamax

that was my only negative experience with medicine of my life but it was awful, i was supposed to take 2 pills twice a day but i never take pills so i tried 1 twice a day......

the headaches didnt go away, in fact they may have got worse, i was in a hazy cloud for the entire week, i could not watch tv, i could not read (and not kidding for 3 months after this any time i tried to read a book id get 3 pages in, not remember a thing i had read and give up, im not the best conversationalist or talker you will find, but i started stuttering and saying words close to the word i wanted but not the right word

i went up to try and whisper something to a buddy about a different player at the table and he texted me 5 mins later next time to "use my indoor voice" so i was trying to be quiet and yelled in his ear

i remember i was playing big 0 and we were talking about basketball and this smart guy whose opinion i usually respect says kobe bryant is the 2nd best basketball player of all time and this just completely blew my mind, i lose with AA3xx all in pre dont rebuy cuz feel like ish go home at like 8 and for 10 hours i just sat in a chair, i couldnt focus on tv or anything so i just sat there thinking about how anyone with a brain could think kobe is the 2nd best

so i was taking an awful medicine that was supposed to help for headaches but made them worse, made me feel horrible, and was running awful in PLO flips (in the previously mentioned "in theory" great structure for short stacking) and got down to under $4k with rent due by the end of the week

ive had some awful weeks in my life but i think that was the worst, if i was at all suicidal that coulda been the end for me

so anyways if u try topamax be careful, its a good drug that works for a lot of people, i could not handle it in the slightest

my eyes are slightly off 20/20, they are good enough to pass the nevada drivers eye test (not the kansas one so i did have to get glasses for that test)


i guess, now that you mention it, that is about the only change that i have not tried, i wonder if there is even an eye doctor out here and how much it would cost to get glasses..... i would hate to spend $50, have them not solve the problem, and have burned money, though i guess its worth a shot

Glasses are pretty cheap to get in SEasia since virtually all Chinese wear them. You don't have to wear glasses all the time, but you would wear them for reading + grinding. If your vision is off and you are spending long hours on a computer, that could very well give you persistent headaches. It's worth a look into at least.

i think the hotel next door must have blocked me from their wifi, i havent been able to log onto it the last 3 days it shows up as good strength but then always has the yellow exclamation point and says no internet access, so i tried someone elses laptop today and it worked fine

is there any way to get around this? the only thing i can think to do is go over there and get a drink in the bar, ask them for the password and then say hey i cant log on and hope they try to find out why and unblock me (if i really am blocked)

Since they put up those traffic lights a couple of years, I have seen far far more people driving past red light, than I have seen people stop for red light. Actually came to the point where my wife got angry to me, when I stopped for red light, as it was dangerous to just stop the motorbike in the middle of the street, with the traffic speeding past us on both sides. Also once there was traffic police right after the lights, so I went slowly until the lights changed to green, then entered the cross section. The police stopped me and asked for 10 dollars because I did not wait for the BLUE light... Since then I have learned the cambodian way, and traffic lights are only there to look good, and no reason to respect it unless theres a cop nearby that wants to fill his own pockets.

ugh i dont know how to explain what im saying and am to lazy to actually think out the correct wording, but i am really surprised that driving around here appears to go so smoothly considering no one has any regard for lights, lanes, sides of the road, etc.

I often think about the B movie called "Bee movie"...(cartoon)... in the beginning theres a scene where the main character (bee) crosses a road with insane traffic and everything just go smooth.... that is what cambodian traffic is all about.

With that said, traffic accidents do happen all the time. I have seen several dead bodies in the street, and a friend of mine got killed in a moto accident a few weeks ago. Traffic is by far the most risky thing here. And most people worry about everything else...

ya thats why (or one of the many reasons why) i like my location, i hop on a motorbike once or twice a month to head to big market or samudura but other than that i walk everywhere i go, almost got hit while walking one time when i was on a side street walking on the wrong side of road to see oncoming traffic (the road by golden lions that leads to cambodia resort, its two lane with divider in middle) and some guy comes flying past behind me going wrong way right as i was stepping into his path he swerved was really close call he almost wiped out
