Sounds good. If we do winner takes all, id be willing to pay 12% of winnings. 12% of 5K + 8% tip to dealer.

I had heard reports that in the Fortuna poker room down in Sihanoukville, the Koreans have started to ban winning players from their game. First it was just a friend of mine but the list kept growing. I had initially thought that perhaps race was involved as the first three players to be banned are all Finnish, but that theory doesn't seem to be true as additional names of different ethnicities have been barred from the room. As some of you know I worked for the Koreans for a short time during my last few months in Sihanoukville and besides my dealings with Charley, the experience was frustrating to say the least. I can see from these latest reports that not much has changed. I guess the Taiwanese will continue get more business as these players are now basically forced to play there. It's unfortunate though that they were banned from the only room that spreads $1-$2 NLH. But I have a feeling with more players being forced to defect to the other game, that won't be the case much longer. Just today I saw a Facebook post from the Koreans advertising their game and they only had four players, with a photo that pictured only three.

I know I was on point, he still didn't confirm he was from Singapore but it's pretty obvious. Singapore is small and I'm sure that if WarMage reveal his IRL name to me in PM I know a guy that know him. Poker and e sports community is small in Singapore

I have been going out more lately as I recently switched to the night shift and I've been able to sleep in a bit more. That usually means a lot of restaurants, drinking and of course girls. The restaurants are a double edged sword as I certainly enjoy the food, but I spend more money and also gain some weight. I've actually lost a bit lately as I eat at the Riverking most of the time and I've forced myself to eat off of the Asian menu only. But the restaurant scene has picked up a lot in Phnom Penh. I know I've said that a lot already but it's really true. My friend in Thailand just texted me for a list of good restaurants in the city and I found myself typing out for him an endless list.

I've been drinking the last few nights with some new players and some returning ones. One of them wanted to go clubbing but I admit that's not really my bag right now. Still we were able to hit up a lot of places on the Riverside and even slum it up a bit at Sorya once in a while. I mentioned a while back on a previous post that I had a stalker that randomly started texting me on Facebook. I had to eventually block her on Facebook as she was calling me all the time and was a bit too obsessed with pictures of my chip stack on Facebook. But I happened to go into her bar recently and I ended up buying a drink for who I thought was just some random cute girl. But of course this is how I run and it turned out to be my stalker. If I knew she was this hot in person, I probably would not have blocked her. But still I don't think anything is going to come of it as I gave her a hug on my way out and she gave me one of those embraces where she made as little body contact as possible. I'm really starting to get suspicious and think that these girls only like me because they think I have money.

We hit up a few other bars and I swear Phnom Penh is becoming more and more like Sihanoukville everyday. The girls just seem to be getting younger and younger; or perhaps I'm just getting older. The picture below is for you LonelyBox, but don't get too excited I didn't take her home. No way I can have someone looking that young coming out of my apartment and walking by my landlord in the morning. But whatever and as always, they always want to try on my glasses.

If this becomes one of those things that gets talked about and talked about and doesn't happen, I'll be really disappointed.
I am feeling the same way, I really enjoy reading your post but the Trolls are ruining it for everyone. I find it very hard to ignore some of them. I just take a break and hope they grow tired and just go away. Some of them have 5000 or more post and if you read some of them they just try to put people on tilt, some will never go to Cambodia or Thailand but post like they are there every few months.

As a matter of fact, I enjoy your post about living there more then the poker life there. I hate most live poker players anyway, I live in Vegas so I try to go to other rooms when the regulars start to annoy me

Not quite sure you know what the definition of troll is exactly.

'Doesn't agree with my opinion on everything so therefore they are a troll,' seems to be how you are defining it.

Although there are certainly plenty of other people on the internet who also would like that to be the qualifier for being a troll...In fact that's not how it works.

Solid update Triad, I feel like everytime I did PP I did it the wrong way. That food looks awesome just as the girls. Everytime I read your posts it feels like me and you were in different country. I really hope you still around when I come back. Btw, is the dealer choice mixed game still running at red fox?

Last, I'm not that Rewket guy, although I don't know what all the hate is about for him. Apparently, they think I'm him just because I think most poker players are social losers and degens, and that K2D and Jspill are misfits. I'm sure I'm not the only one that thinks this.
I don't remember the last time I didn't spend at least $100 on dinner when I go out. Does that make me special? If you think most poker players are social losers and degens then why are you posting here? Sounds like you have some personal issues to work out.

I now know that the definition of a troll is exactly, thanks for your impute.
I think next time you can just post a photo of yourself.

Can't let you know what I look like bro, I also spend a lot of time living in Vegas and playing in the games there, good chance we've been at the same table before already, got to keep my anonymity as much as is possible.

To be fair to you I often am trolling in my posts. People say a lot of idiotic or self righteous things and such I do often find trolling to be needed to poke some fun when it's needed and called for.

But I also write a lot of serious posts, as well as a lot of posts that are helpful and are giving good advice.

I try to balance it out between the different types.

I wasn't trolling at all though in our conversation on cultural vs. universal values and norms and where tipping falls in that spectrum. I was being completely serious and for real in that conversation which is why I said you may not really know what qualifies as a troll as you seem to think I was trolling in that conversation.

Humm... Anyway, whatever.

Just saying.

Eh... I think his poker strat is genuine and not a troll. I'm skeptical about whether or not he's actually ever going to play HU matches against Cardshark and NL Stewie though.

Yes the dealers choice still runs, with svitten (spelling?) being my favorite. Red Fox was actually one of my favorite spots in PP, for obvious reasons.

And I'm still down to play a HU match vs Mage.

Phnom Penh, for as dirty and cheap as it looks, really does have some absolutely amazing restaurants as previously mentioned, had some truly amazing food there.

Let's make it best of 5 or 7. Think of a couple other games. But your money is no good. We need something truly degenerate to bring some fun back to this forum.

Am open to suggestions on other games/events to play, and punishment for loser. Can be anything as tame as loser pays drinks for an entire evening, for everyone to shaving eyebrows or getting a Brazilian (wax, not woman), or even worse, loser can't smoke any weed for 2 weeks.

Am aiming to be back sometime in July. So we got time to plan this out.
