For traveling purposes, where do you recommend in Asia?

Seriously it's just some pile of stone and hundreds bus of Chinese tourist. I bought a 3 days pass, because I tought it would be cool. But seriously after a short time it's all start to look the same and I had no interest to come back for day 2 and 3.

Note that I was solo traveling, maybe with a group or one person coming with you it can feel less boring. But seriously tourist taking pictures and selfies stick make me sick. Of course if that's your thing you will attack me and call me a **** person. I hope you found your new Facebook profile picture at Angkor wat

I'm imagining LB visiting Petra, the Pyramids, the Great Wall and Machu Pichu and scoffing and saying "psh, just a pile of stone" at all of them.

The suggestion to go as early as possible and relax inside from 11-3 is a good one.

There's a few things you can definitely skip: Terrace of the Leper King and Terrace of the Elephants (the whole area surrounding them) aren't worth it. When I went, I organized pictures by day and site so I wouldn't confuse them later.

Only got to spend one day there but it was amazing. Probably my top tourist destination.

Fwiw Great Wall was a nice pile of stone, the bus ride from Beijing wasn't worth it. I wasn't alone that time

I'd rather visit the other end of the Great Wall in Gansu. I've heard that it's cool there and obviously fewer tourists.

Yeah, definitely go early, best advice I ever got. First day we got to Ankor Watt at 4:30 for the sun rise photo with a few hundred other people and after they'd taken a photo of the sunrise the tourist buses took them all, literally, back to Siem Reap for breakfast. We wandered around Ankor Watt for a couple of hours with two or three other people in the place. Did a few other temples, ended up at the tomb raider temple by about 12:00 and by then I was drenched in sweat, surrounded by tourists and wanted to kill people.

Next day we did the same, got up at 4:30 and wandered around Ankor Thom for a few hours totally alone in the cool dawn morning with mist floating around all them temples and ruins, totally magical. By the time we'd done a full loop to the elephant wall it was 8:30 and 20 or 30 tourist buses had just parked while we went back to SR to eat and chill for the rest of the day.

Two days was definitely enough, but I would have liked a third day to take a trip to the temple that's a few hours away and still in the jungle that sounds really cool.

I believe that's the Bantreay Srei I mentioned before, or the carvings along the river (spoiler, that last one is sold as a package with bantreay srei by tuktuks, but not worth it).

I'm considering doing it again. We have a player who plays in the room sometimes and I'm thinking about asking him to help me revive it. I've been trying to convince Yazzx to do a podcast with me for a while but he seems to have no interest in it. I've also asked Renton555 a few times and he seems more game. A total glutton and heathen with a fitness guy who regiments his life to the last detail should be a good combo. As far as putting up pictures of myself, perhaps you're right but I generally don't care about that and try to post the best picture and sometimes I'm in it.

I went to the pharmacy the other day and asked for a condom that won't break because that's a thing here in Cambodia. So he referred me to this one Japanese brand (not Okamoto) that was some sort of strawberry flavored variety. Anyway I took a girl last night and used it and this thing will definitely not break. You definitely will lose a bit in the sensation side, as with all condoms, but this is the first brand that I've tried where I felt completely at ease in regards to it breaking. On a side note, I can now take fuc*ing a cross-eyed girl off of my bucket list. It was kind of weird having her look at me during the act. I couldn't ask her to not look at me so I just closed my eyes. It made me take a bit longer to finish so in retrospect perhaps I should have told her to not look at me.

I was really afraid that we were going to be pretty dead during the Khmer New Year. Thursday was a fairly busy day but when the Hold'em game didn't start on Friday until 1:30 PM (which is late for us), I thought my worst fears had come to fruition. But I was pleasantly surprised as we ran both games everyday and the Hold'em game even held longer than usual. But I was most surprised about the PLO game as we not only ran it everyday, but it ran $5-$5 most of the time and even went up to $5-$10 on certain occasions. Our Sunday tournament ran as usual and those that play bigger even organized a "high roller" event that ran concurrently. They did a $500 tourney with one re-buy and add-on that was limited to one table. The total prize pool nearly ran up to $10K at $9,500 so it was rather a great success.

We're making a few changes, or rather tweaks, to our promotions namely the hotel deal and the food. It's not really that any of the new players or locals were taking advantage, but the benefits were somewhat disorganized and unclear at times. So I've cleaned it up a bit so that everyone should know exactly what the deals are and what they can expect.

Initially planned for a two day trip in Siem reap (1 day for temples, 1 day for city). However, decided to head back to the capital in the morning as I have already done most of the touristy stuff.

In the morning, I visited the main temples such as Angkor Wat; Angkor Thom; Bayon Temple; Ta Phrom followed by Pub Street/Night Market/Hard Rock Cafe in the evening.

Even though I enjoyed the trip out of PP, I am not really happy about spending USD 150+ in a single day. A lot of unnecessary expenses. Should not have paid for accommodation since I could have taken the 1130pm sleeper bus. Overpaid for a massage session and food at the tourist sites.

Can't wait to get back to PP where my cost of living is much lower. In PP, I can live on as little as USD 10 per day, money which can be easily earned playing Blackjack over at Naga Casino. I like to joke with the dealers that I consider my winnings as "Tuk Tuk money". :P

Hanging with my friend on 172 just grabbing some food. At some place open late called the Golden Home Guesthouse. The food looked promising but was pretty garbage. Had to pick out four bones from my chicken breast. Probably won't come back here. Now debating on whether or not to drink.

Without the stacks size and the positions, your hand doesn't make much sense.

Which position are you ? What the limit ?

Does it mean you limped preflop ? What is the action preflop ? What the stack size of the other players ? Your stack size ?

From what I understand : Don't limp preflop. KJs is a raise 100% of the time.
