This event would have been a nightmare and a joke. Thankfully it has been cancelled.

Officially it has been cancelled because "Players didn't like it". My guess was more that the WPT wasn't happy to see his brand associated to this kind of event.

When I read about it I thought it was a "fun" event, inviting runners to wear a wig or something. What're they gonna do, ask for a ladyboy certificate when you sign up?

By the way, where did you guys find out it's been cancelled because players didnt like it?

I see they already have a few ladies events. Both those and the regular events should already be open to ladyboys, doesn't really seem like it's needed to have a specifically ladyboy event. Also seems like it would be a pretty small field, unless they intentionally bring ladyboys in to play it, but then it's become more of a spectacle/gimmick event which I would indeed hope that WPT is not on board with.

Does anyone go to the Casinos in Sihanoukville Cambodia. Is the poker any good in the casino, rake? Action? Limits?
Also, what is there to do in the area?

Any SIM card suggestions in PP for 4G/LTE? I was told to get cell card, but the speed is abysmal.

Also how much should the 12mth visa cost if paying through an agent?

Tia.

Smart hands down. The speed is far superior and cellcard doesn't even work inside of Nagaworld.

A 12 month visa renewal is $300. Your travel agent should charge a small fee on top. A few hotels offer this service for their guests without charge so go down to the lobby and ask.

Right now there is only one game in Sihanoukville and that is the $1-$1 game at Lion City. It used to start at 2:00 PM after a sit n go but the day game has completely disappeared the last few days for some reason. Lately the game hasn't been starting until about 8:00 PM. The action is OK at the moment; not great and not terrible. The rake is very reasonable at 5% capped at $5. There is a higher $1-$2 game at Golden Island but that game doesn't start in most days and has been very hit and miss.

As far as what there is to do, it's similar to other towns but the main attraction is obviously the beach. Whether you drink, eat or swim at the beach Sihanoukville has some nice ones. But just note that tourist beaches like Serendipity and Ocheateal suck. You want to go out of your way to areas like Otres.

Missing our days in Vegas, 4_chainz and I have made a prop bet. 4_chainz must drink a 750 ml bottle of Bailey's in one hour. He then has 20 minutes of rest time. At the end of his rest, he then must complete a cycle of climbing all of the stairwells of the G'day Mate Guesthouse and returning to the ground floor, four times within 10 minutes. Once he takes his first sip he cannot use the bathroom, vomit nor can he drink any other substance such as water.

4_chainz has informed me that he is taking action against himself up to $2k. So if you would like to bet against him go ahead and send him a PM.

The bet will take place this Sunday at 4:00 PM, Cambodia time. To demonstrate the difficulty of this challenge, I will post a video of myself climbing the stairwells of G'day Mate shortly; hopefully by tomorrow.

Game on!

Please I would like to know how many tables are running on the week and week-ends currently at Naga World and what are the limits played and the level of the players. Also, I have read that Naga World is the only legal casino in the country. So what about the other poker rooms like the River King in Phnom Penh... is it dangerous to play there and is there a risk to be arrested there?

Sounds fun, will you be recording the bet itself as well? Aftermath at least?

I'll try and record the important parts. Will definitely get the puking down the stairs part. Should be fun.

I think the whole creamy thing will make for the puking failure and easy action.

Well naga is the only 'legal' casino in Phnom Penh but there are other legal casinos in other places of cambodia aswell. Usually there is just one(1-2) and maybe second one will run shortwhile(though it is low season now but i think two is max), River King has been lately running 1-2-4 hold em and 5-5 omaha and is quite safe also though not 'quite legal'. Sihanoukville poker is not so good ATM but players are saying it is gona be better on high season. I would say the overal safety is about same lvl as in Manila(just don't show off that you have lot of money(and you can also deposid it at river king and some places at manila))

Thanks for the info guys. I bought a smart sim inside Aeon mall and was getting 50 mb per second there. Everywhere else after it's only been slightly improved to cell card lol. Anyhow still a slight improvement at least.

Think I'll get a 6 month for $160. Will probably visit Myanmar and a couple of other places and come back.

I doubt I will be playing regularly at Naga World. I'm basically a recreational player as is. A week or so ago I went to Naga and had a horrific experience. First, the black jack rules are totally bizarre here and people can bet on you. Initially I wasn't paying the closest attention and think the lady next to me was collecting my winnings on her smaller bets. Then I had a truly bizarre situation where she hit 8,8 on my bet. It took over 1 hour to get my $ back and I made them check the cameras, etc. Dealer was totally lying in claiming I hit. Just absurdly bizarre. Also I had one dude who was literally following me for 3 hours. If i went upstairs he went upstairs, I go downstairs he goes downstairs, I go to the bathroom... You get the picture.

This is before my cousin who lived here 2 years ago told me that foreigners are routinely followed home from Naga by hitmen and murdered.

On top of all of this I went up to the poker area at one point and some insane blonde woman on some sort of substance was just annoying and harassing. Not my kind of place.
