sofocused you asked about pizza the other day, i had one of the unhappy variety last night, first one over here

$1.60 for a decent size lil pizza, enough for a meal unless you are really hungry

crust not that good, sauce was alright and actually a normal amount of cheese for a pizza on it, unlike in PI where there was almost no cheese

so was decent, ill eat again because of the price, but still worse than even the worst pizza in US, i hadnt eaten any bananas before i had it though so my taste buds werent at their full capabilities

really only eaten at 3 places other then that though, charlie harpers (best thing ive got there is the breakfast)

new sea view villa by the beach right next to my place, $5.50 for some quite good lasagna, also had some tennessee pork that was pretty good, kind of expensive for this area but probably the best food around

and then right across from my hotel there is a place that is really cheap and i keep getting an omelet and baguette there for 2.25, full meal tastes good hasnt got me sick yet

dunno about losing weight, havent been able to workout yet cuz of the leg, never weigh myself anyways, mentioned it before but my plans when moving here was to eat a ton of fruit, but the fruits i know over here like apples, oranges, and grapes are all expensive, only thing ive got is pineapple

o ya had the bbq at the beach a few times to

Apparently there are a couple of good french places near the beaches. Seafood BBQ was alright but can take a long time to cook if your feeling hungry. Only time I got sick was eating a street vendors Khamer salad kinda like coleslaw.

Didnt realize someone is actually interested in anything other than whores, alcohol and poker... What is the story behind the killing tree?.....

Nevermind, did a quick google... they are called a Chankiri Tree. They were trees in the killing fields were children and Infants had their heads bash onto. Is that correct?

Gore:
Spoiler:
They held children by the legs, and beat them against it until unconscious/dead, then threw them into the nearby pit.

I've hadto kill during my military days but to actually think that another human being can do something like that really turns my stomach its just unthinkable and very disturbing.

No, you are not reading it right. That is the expensive side of the menu, with the heavy machine guns and rocket launchers.

Try this one:

ok that makes a lot more sense

but tbh even $40 seems a bit high to fire 30 shots out of an AK

judging by how cheap things are here i would have guessed like $10

of course i am assuming that "numbre of bullets" meant 30 bullets, and that "ameunt" meant $40, lol

It's expensive but they know tourists will pay because it's a once in a lifetime opportunity for most people. I've been to Cambodia 4 times but am still yet to go to a shooting range... always promise myself I'll go but end up wasting money elsewhere haha.

Yeah its expensive relative to living costs in Cambodia, but its something I would never be able to do back home in NZ. Im paying for the ability to just walk in, and 30 seconds later get handed a loaded weapon. They didnt even ask my name. The did however ask if I wanted to line up coconuts to shoot at.

The rules are so strict in NZ no one is allowed to own automatic weapons, and despite my parents owning a shooting range when I was small, I have never even seen an assault rifle. The police dont carry firearms as standard. The only way I would have been able to get trigger time with an automatic would have been joining the military. So its become a tourist attraction, and Im sure they are making decent money from it.

I actually got a amusing speach from my tuk tuk driver about his time in the military, and how he prefers the M16 to the AK47, because "sometimes you shoot man with AK47 bullet go straight through, they not die. With M16, little hole in, big hole when go out. Man always die."

Maybe you have the opportunity to fire an automatic rifle whenever you feel, but Im willing to bet that you cant cruise up the mountain and blow a tree to smithereens with a rocket launcher.

Remember, Cambodians go through the army after leaving school, you can be sure as hell that they arent paying $40 USD/magazine to train at the range.

I was sitting at the table talking to three of the guys who worked there(dressed in military uniform and all) when I just got out the camera and took a few shots. I didn't even notice that it said that untill afterwards. They didnt say anything, pretty sure I could have just given them a dollar to buy a beer each and they would have been happy anyway.

I did notice there were massive signs all over the walls about not taking photos of the guns so I only managed to get a few; where I asked them to take a photo of me and then purposefully stood infront of the guns that were strewn about.

i have no clue what you are talking about nuts, never heard either of those words before, i was referring to potassium levels of the bananas out here and how i dont like to eat the one of them for breakfast cuz it keeps me tired all day

ive been pretty big into the bananas for like 10 years so know all the terms, just to lazy/dont care enough to remember what they mean

mj i got no problems with u paying $40 or whatever, just seems like a lot more than i was expecting to see is all, i was in vegas before and u can go shoot them there to (not a rocket launcher or grenade lol), i wouldnt guess it would be all that much more expensive to do it there but i never went

weeee just shipped $11 rebuy and got third in $11 mtt on party, only about 100 runners in each so not a huge payday, but about as huge as i could have got today

Killing fields was a pretty big tourist trap IMO - there is really hardly anything to see there. Also there was a lot of empty political BS in the presentation of the information there. I learned a lot more just reading about the pol pot regime on the internet.

got moneybookers issue resolved emailed them saying i had no confidence in the cambodian postal system they said ok send us a bank statement or bill with your address, i actually sent them the wrong scanned thing from my bank the original one that party accepted and stars didnt

so they said it wont work cuz address is wrong, then i sent them the newer one with the "right" address on it and they asked why it had the same date as other, i explained what had happened and they accepted, so back on stars only took a few days, and this also increased my moneybookers limits which was something i needed to do anyways

met by far the best girl in the 3 weeks in asia at dolphin the other day, not the hottest, only middle of the pack as far as thats concerned, still plenty hot though, but her personality...... if i was looking for anything long term she would be the clear winner

WOW

You can't be real. Guess beyond the mass graves and 5,000 human skulls on display it is just a tourist trap with nothing to see. WTF did you expect
