Hey Dante, have you met many Namibian 7-2 low ball triple draw pros while you've been there?

Yeah,
will for sure live somewhere with a generator.
Still, the generator needs afaik like 15-20 min if it works?
Even when you have a laptop, this would not prevent me then cause I have a 30 inch-monitor with the laptop connected and this monitor (with all his tables)
will loose anyways the electricity until generator will work...
But I have found a kind of an electricity-backup which is working instantly after a blackout and works then for like 20 minutes - so enough time until generator will start working...

I guess this will be my line, then...

Wanted just check out how often such blackouts are happening, in general...

Is there a way to connect to my broadband, and my 3g card at the same time, so that if I disconnect from one on accident, the other automatically kicks in, and my internet doesn't skip a beat and my hand doesn't get folded?

ya you might be right about the chop but they were good players with a big lead and i basically would have been playing for 2nd given the stacks so dont mind banking the extra $250

im a big fan of chopping (unless against fish) but this might be the first time it wasnt the right thing to do

in worst case scenario where power goes out for 15 minutes before generator kicks on cant you just play all on one monitor? ive played 24 tables of PLO on one monitor before its not ideal but its doable

but ya they sell things (i think called UPS maybe?) that will give you like an hour of power, generator doesnt take 15-20 minutes its however long it takes for someone to walk over to the generator and start it up, plus the power outages are happening far less often than before

my fav is here for a week......... this is great except.......... i havent seen that one girl (rubberless) for almost 2 weeks, she hasnt responded to my texts the last 3 nights (not all that unusual for her but i fear she may not believe that i really had money problems knowing how jealous these girls are she probably thinks i was barebacking different girls that whole week)

whenever the fav is in town i spend every night with her cuz she isnt here often, so that means its gonna be like 3 weeks tell i see the other girl again, i think im gonna lose her

if she would answer her damn phone and talk to me id find out what the deal is and then put the rubbers back on with my fav, but this girl is so flaky i cant be fully sure ill see her again, so i guess ill just get another HIV test when the fav leaves (if that girl decides to respond by then)

sadly my fav is gonna lose money on her farming, makes me very because she is such a nice girl i wanted nothing but the best for her, but i guess the price on flour has dropped a lot the past few months and that was what she mostly invested in this year

o ya she bought a new iphone and then lost it like a week later so thats why she didnt call me, i searched the beach for her today but didnt find her and then got a knock on my door when i started playing

actually i am, she's not one of the 5 hottest ive been with but her personality is far and away the best (only shack girl would be close)

2 days in a row power goes out in the morning, meaning horrible sleep, meaning guaranteed headache (like 85% chance of headache even with good sleep but this makes it 100% and it is a worse one)

over 3 months of 5+ days a week with a headache getting real old, at first they were almost all really weak pain, recently theyve been getting worse

life would be perfect right now if not for them

Do you suffer from cluster headaches? It really sounds like it from your description (they are becoming more commonly prescribed afaik instead of generic 'migraines,' migraines require the pain to actually migrate). Heard those things are the worst but migraines are no walk in the park either :-(
Living in Cambodia and turning Pro Quote
12-13-2012 , 07:24 AM
i have no clue what they are, its hard to call them migraines when 80% of them over the past 3 months have been a very low pain level, ive had plenty of brutal want to kill myself level headaches over the years but with these recent ones if i take an advil migraine they havent been reaching that point (luckily)

i brought 3 bottles of advil migraine with me which is enough for 60 uses, in 5 months im down to my last 16 pills (so can take 8 more times) and really didnt use it much at all the first month

i wasnt getting to many headaches right before i came over (got a ton early in the year) so was expecting 3 bottles to last till the end of 2013 not only give me 6-7 months, and that doesnt even count all the times ive just taken regular ibuprofen for the small ones

and considering i have a bad liver and try to avoid any pills......... ya thats not working right now

ugh sorry for venting but not sure how much more i can take of these

I mentioned cluster headaches earlier to k2d because my mother once had them.

Everything he mentions sounds like what my mother had. They are treatable.

i saw dr's in the states and all they did is give me the run around...... "here when you feel a headache coming on try this pill"

"ok that pill worked but im looking for some sort of long term solution"

"oh i see, well next time you get a headache try taking this pill and see if it goes away"

as mentioned i hate pills and dont like being a lab rat for different headache medicines, it really was like the doctors didnt even listen to a word i said the entire time and discounted my liver history, i got one to prescribe me topamax but as stated before i couldnt come anywhere close to handling it, i really wanted to get one of these shots ive heard about that you get every 3 months that can make migraines go away but the dr i was seeing said i would need to try many different pills before my insurance would consider paying for it

and i was doing all of this back in february when my life bankroll was like $3500 and i couldnt afford doing constant doctors visits even with insurance the cost to see them plus fill prescriptions added up fast, then when my roll got larger in april and may the headaches had for the most part gone away so i didnt go back

and now im in cambo where im pretty sure i wont be able to find a good doctor and getting them non stop

Why do you think that?

Were the doctors in the States "good doctors" despite not giving a **** and just shoving pills down your throat?

I know Sihanoukville has an International clinic and PP has several French run or internationally affiliated hospitals. All you need is a doctor who actually cares and can be bothered thinking a little about the problem and I don't see why you would have any less chance of finding on in Cambodia than anywhere else in the world.
Living in Cambodia and turning Pro Quote
12-14-2012 , 06:49 AM
because anytime i ask anyone a "what should i do if/where should i go if" medical question here the answer is always the same: go to thailand

might be able to find a good doctor in PP, but considering the last time i went to the place that is said to be the best here in snooky (CT clinic) i got extremely sick the next day i dont really feel like heading back there any time soon

also the liver issues i have are a rare and complicated thing, i would have trouble explaining it to an american doctor let alone the language barrier, i doubt they could get my medical history over here and if they could i doubt they would understand it

and now to continue the "kick2dante health chatter" thread one of the girls who works at my hotel (ive mentioned her before, has a "second father" from the US who sends her money but they no boom boom) plays pool with me pretty much every day and we talk a lot, i show her good movies and tv to download, well anyways she was sick earlier this week with a soar throat

well 2 days ago i got a bit of a soar throat, yesterday i had a blister on my thumb, then last night i went for a beach walk and on my way back i could feel that the bottom of my feet had huge blisters on them (not the same type as on my hand, just standard foot blister you would get from walking to much in a new shoe) and then when i wake up today i have more blisters on my hand

so i google this and i think she gave me "hand, foot, and mouth disease"

what a b1tch!!!!

doesnt sound like its anything to serious should go away pretty soon, but walking is no fun right now, she never mentioned anything about blisters though.........

now to this girls new issue, she is the only cambo girl ive met who regularly spends $3-$5 on one meal (by regularly i mean once or twice a week) and she wanted to try a new place that she hadnt ate before that i eat at often, they have a really good special where you get 2 dinners and 2 apps for $10 so we were gonna split it, i ask her if she wants to today but she says she cant because her mom needs $500 from her so she cant eat good food for awhile

seems everyone in there 20's out here has to support their parents/family, i know its just how they do things but it makes it pretty obvious why no one can ever save up any money or get ahead in life

she told me one time she saved up $2,000 was gonna buy a motorbike and go to college, her mom found out about the money and told her that she needed it so end result no college and no motorbike for her

at some point they really need to quit this cycle, not exactly sure how to fix it but it needs fixing

In our home countries we pay 40% of our income so that old people can be supported by welfare/aged pension. It's not a lot different in the long run, except that people in Cambodia can choose how much to pay them.

Googled:

It is less common in adults, but those with immune deficiencies are very susceptible.

Would not boom boom.

elaborate spiv, why does what you quoted mean you dont think i should boom boom?

im not going to boom boom because its contagious and i dont want to spread it (though im pretty sure i could tell my fav im sick you dont want to be near me and she would still come)

but i dont read what you quoted to mean that when i have it i am more susceptible to getting something else as well, i take that to mean if you have an immune deficiency you are more likely to get this.......

or am i wrong?

Sore not soar to soar would be to soar into the air like an eagle.

Dont boomboom people with immune deficiency, do you really need to ask why?

Spoiler:
acquired immune deficiency syndrome

Spoiler:
HIV/AIDS

oh geez i just cant wait to read the next 2 pages of this thread now where everyone will be 100% sure i have HIV

FYI always had a weak immune system, was born unhealthy and thats never changed, which makes coming over here pretty ridiculous considering hepatitis could easily kill me and its so prevalent over here........ but yolo

asked the girl who was sick if she had any blisters on hands or feet and she said no, so not sure i got it from her, and of course still not sure its even what i have, though 1 of the pictures i saw of the hand bumps looked pretty much exactly like what ive got

Earlier this year Cambodia closed down all schools in the country for a couple of weeks, because there were a mysterious disease spreading and it killed more than a hundred children. They were trying to stop the spreading until they figured out what it was.

They discovered it was a new form of hand, foot and mouth disease, that was surprisingly nasty. Most of the deaths were children and often within days. So you are probably safe.

Welcome to Cambodia.

wow thats what i have!?!?!? i remember reading about all those kids dieing before i came over here

i felt pretty bad yesterday when i woke up but i assumed it was from no sleep/headache and felt fine by the evening, feel pretty much fine today other than walking isnt the most pleasant thing, would be quite a dramatic turn if it turned into anything serious

gotta say wabby not saying anything about it meaning i have a legitimate increased likelihood of HIV makes me feel a lil better (though i really didnt think that had anything to do with it before)
