What's up with those infamous happy pizzas...

Is it weed sprinkled on like oregano or is it baked in?

Does it make you happy? Or is it weak sauce?

So I was wondering...
WHAT IS THE BANKING SITUATION LIKE? Have you ever requested a funds from a poker site? How did you request them. Did you have any problems with the transactions and your bank? Thanks for any info. Looking very seriously at moving to Cambodia or Laos for a year.
this please

+1

I went to Cambodia a few years ago and and made some friends in Phnom Penh, so I'm moving there in a couple weeks from the US to get my roll back from Full Tilt. Would definitely like to know what withdrawal methods are working: moneybookers, echeck etc.

From what I've read on the khmer440.com forums, AZN and ABA are the best bets for internet banking in Cambodia. Hopefully FTP can transfer to them.

Been at naga world last couple of days. Unfortunately it seems that there is a group of regular grinders now, who seem reasonably solid. Didn't help that the biggest fish at the table literally took everyones money

This thread is hilarious

I used to live in Thailand on/off for a decade and I have lived the last 4 years in Sihanoukville.

Some people in this thread that claim to be "in the know" and know some friends that "are in the know" are wayyyyy off based on my first-hand experience.

I think most of it comes down to you style of life. I have never been at the girly bars here, I don't run around drunk at night, I don't smoke weed.

I have an ordinary family life, I run a business and I have a great life here.

I have hired numerous people to work for me, and fortunately noone has hacked me to death yet.

"The Most dangerous place on eart" ... get real. I feel a lot safer here than I would in most big cities back in Europe, and from what I hear cities in US are even worse.

Maybe I'm just "green", and "think I live in paradise" and very naive.

"only weirdo's drunks and junks and the few good people that work low wages as teachers and the NGO moneymakers thats a fact and will be"

I dont consider myself to be in any of these categories, zigi. Maybe you just mingle with the wrong kind of people.

doesn't Sinookville have some sort of brothel dubbed the Chicken Farm? What's this place all about?

I'm seeing a girl in Cambodia, and I go again in August time for 3 weeks... only been to PP & Siem Reap but I'm heading to Sihanoukville next time round for sure. Relieved to know theres good nightlife there.

One day I hope I can move there and make a living from playing poker, but it's just a dream at the moment.. who knows in a few years time. I'm only 23.

i think you kids should experience thailand before even thinking about living in cambodia.... i mean jesus ****ing christ

for every nice location in cambodia there endless amounts in thailand

become a pro of thailand before even thinking about cambodia. if you want to live in the jungle you can do that, if you want to live in the city you can do that. if you want to live with westerners or no westeners can do that too... but don't go to Cambodia off the bat thats just nuts... i've been there

there is a small town near chaing mai with no westerners and everyone there highly respects westerners when the stop by or stay. everthing is just green green green .. air is just so clean.. people are nice.. you can see all the stars at night.. damn i miss thailand!!

  • 1bedroom appartment with hot water and everything like that. western style. Not too far away from beach would be really cool but only if it doesn't make it too expensive.
  • Let's say we cook at home 75% of the time and 25% or less we eat outside.
  • Reliable internet connection for playing poker.
  • We would like to go out 2 times a month.
  • We also would like to travel a bit and see some interesting places not just sit at home.

We kinda are on a budget

Anything else?

I'll be honest I don't have a proper feel for the price of stuff as well as I do in Thailand as I've only been to Cambo a couple of times. But thinking about your post on India I think you could live on $1000 without scrimping too much. Sihanoukville and Kep are the main beach resorts the latter being much smaller and quieter.

I have friends that have lived on and off in sihanoukville and they tell me its not the best place to be in the rainy season as it does p1ss down a lot. But I'll defer to others who have better knowledge than me.

You should have a look on the cambo forums this one is on snooky http://www.sihanoukvilleonline.com/forum/

and a general one for cambo is http://www.khmer440.com/chat_forum/

You will get better answers on both those forums.

Sihanoukville looks like a cool place to live. But I bet the internet isn't solid enough to grind SNGs for a living?? Are there actually any grinders living there?

having a comparable lifestyle,we spend $50k p.y.
as we rented a poolvilla and you only need an appt.
deduct 10k.
if you don`t smoke, you can deduct another 5k.
