spud i got $2300 in my bank of america account, say another black friday type situation comes along that would be all the money i have in the world, id like to keep that "worst case scenario" fund as full as possible

go for a beach walk and as im halfway down the beach the power goes out, that is extremely rare for the middle of the night, actually over the past month the power outages have been very few and far between and dont last long at all, and in the 4+ months ive been here i can only remember 1 time that the power was out at 3 am

so i decide to go for a longer walk than usual because wtf else am i gonna do, there is sort of a usual end for where i walk to because at high tide you cant go any further, but when low tide you can walk across this one area to where there are a few more bars and then just a long strip of beach with nothing around it (only walked the area where nothing is around twice, its a lil freaky in the middle of the night out there by yourself)



anyways im by the 2nd set of bars and out of nowhere 2 huge dogs come running at me, they dont bark until they are right up on me and i think they are actually gonna attack me, they stop maybe 5 feet away but are barking like crazy and im not sure they are done with whatever it is they have planned so i quickly take off the shoes/socks and walk a few feet out into the water, they follow me for about 50 yards

i hate walking in the water because on the beach walks i usually see maybe 5 jellyfish almost every night, never realized how big jellyfish were


dogs eventually lost interest but thats the most scared ive been from dogs over here for a few months

power was out for maybe 2 hours but its back on now, sooooooooo tempted to go get a girl to kill time but held out (actually went for a 2nd beach walk)

was not at all looking forward to trying to sleep with no AC and only a few hours of battery operated fan time

Street dogs in Asia scare the **** outta me and I don't mind admitting that.

Just remember k2 stare them in the eye and dont turn your back on them, keep eye contact and walk slowly backwards. If you turn to run or walk, its their instinct to give chase.

anyone know the deal with stars not having tourneys between 5pm and 8pm cambo time? past 2 days every tourney they have then is either a "timed" tournament that ends in 30 minutes and you split the payout depending on how many chips (why even run that?) or a hyper turbo?
