Imo PT's job would be noway near as good if he had any other boss...

Running a poker room seems like a very stressful job having to deal with some of the people who play poker.. a lot of rude/arrogant people... Can't even imagine what it's like for the dealers.. constantly see some players treating them like ****

Last edited by Yazzx; 06-19-2017 at 07:07 AM. Reason: Just trying to keep all the bongs happy seems like a stressful enough job :D

Only I was just saying that to Sam and others that seem to rip on the guy at least he contributes reasonable content, mind you not my cup of tea But. Pics are great. I do prefer the Pics that PT shares and even Yazzx pic is sweet.

Yazzx PT job would suck a lot as you say with the stress abuse etc and just trying to keep everyone happy as best you can. I only played there once but loved it but had to leave early as my Daughter was at our hotel alone.

PT was in Snooky that week but met a couple really nice guys and even the short Bald guy I nicknamed Mekong (River was kind to him a few times) who took all my $$ was cool as. Guy next to me was a good player and helped me as did the Dealers as being old and not much live experience etc they all made it a great night.

More Pussy pics and Poker stories good and bad Head Down Arse Up

Visa exemption from where I come from. But it's capped at 30 days.

Correction. RK only does 100/200 PLO, max 500/500. At least from my last 2 years of having played there.

Oh, you will be surprised. I know people who are capable of that. It's just not my style.

I played that hand badly. Could have folded when guy check raises me $40 to a $12 bet on a 10 3 2 flop. It was a three way all-in pot. I had top two, check raiser had 33, one other guy had 22.

Not that I am making excuses but I was pretty lethargic when I was playing. In hindsight, I should have walked away and booked a $100 loss for the session.

To each his own. Nothing wrong with being a tightass nit or an uncontrollable degen. I hate to impose my life view on others.

Had a nightmare while I was sleeping this afternoon.

Dreamt that I had my entire bankroll on the blackjack table at Naga. All my hands were either 20/21. Dealer dealt an Ace to herself. S***. Then she flipped a face card over. FML!

As I was absorbing the shock of what happened and how I even got to this state in the first place, I wondered...

Wait. Why didn't the dealer dealt an up card to herself in the first place?

Woke up. Thank God!

"1-1 Omaha game has just started" as I read the message from Mike on my phone.

Guess I jinxed myself by celebrating my winning sessions in my previous posts. Second straight day of losses mainly due to the Omaha games at RK.

Played the $1-$3 NLHE in the afternoon. Doubled up when I hit trips (higher kicker) against another bong's same trips (lower kicker). Then my profits whittled down to +$20. Ended the session early as I was feeling pretty tired. Walked back to my hostel to rest.

Came in for the Omaha game in the evening. Dusted off my first buy-in of $100 with AAQ10 after I induced a five-way all in. One of the mother f***ers hit trips on the flop. Well...what can I do right? That would have been an instant +$500 profit for me. The pot ended up being around $1.5K+. This is an example of how juicy the Omaha games at RK has been. ($500 is equivalent to what I live on in a month here in Phnom Penh )

Tilted off my second buy-in of $100 and decided to stop my session. Not going to repeat the same mistake that the player with +$600 profit committed yesterday.

Went to Naga and played 1/2 NLHE for an hour before the game broke. Was up $22.

Had a losing day overall but I am not too upset. It's just the way it is. Even as a veteran of the game, I cannot expect myself to win every single session. The only thing I can do is to minimize the cost of my mistakes so it doesn't eat too much into my winnings.

Nice pics as always Cardshark nice results too, so if you had a small loss at riverking did you make your profit online or at the naga cardroom? just curious as I daydream about playing in a cheap country for a while

look forward to any pics from the stans, have fun.

Switched to the nightshift again starting today, but I'll be in the room by 3:00 PM. Swing by the room and say what's up.

Went out with some English lads in town from Thailand for a Visa run. Got way too drunk and ended up taking a girl home. Not sure how the other boys ended up. Night could have been better but that wasn't her fault. I was way too pissed and just completely spent from work. We have a dealer out sick and I have to find a new one. The process is completely stressing me out. Anyway the girl just left but not before I snapped this pic.

Regular price the hotel is $20 per night. But if you play in the room three hours per day we offer it for $10 per. You need a valid passport with a current visa and if you plan on staying long term the hotel may require some money upfront. I've stayed in the hotel before and it's a perfectly fine three start hotel. The rake in the hold'em games is 10% capped at $5 for both $1-$3 and $2-$5. The daily hold'em game is $1-$3 NLH. The Riverking is about 30 minutes from the airport in moderate traffic. PM me for further details.

The player who WarMage was writing about the other day in regards to getting tilted is actually a pretty good player. Everyone is allowed the occasional bad day. He's sitting on a fairly healthy stack right now in the $1-$1 Omaha game and I'm pretty sure it's gotten bigger since I snapped the pic about an hour ago.

It was a long day for me yesterday. I realised that I have been grinding far too much and not taking sufficient breaks in between sessions.

Started off with 1-3 NLHE at RK in the afternoon. Busted my first buy-in of $100 when my opponent (TAG reg) hits his set of 10s against my QQ on the flop. In the next orbit, I lost my second buy-in of $100 when I jammed A10 into his pair of JJs. Flopped a pair of Aces and he rivered runner runner flush. Sigh...Decided to end my session.

Went to Naga and degen at the table games. Was down -$100+ at one point but grinded to the plus column of +$20 after about an hour. Ended my session and went back to RK to continue playing 1-3 NLHE.

Doubled up on my first buy-in of $100 when my AQ won against JJ. A few orbits later, I doubled up again through the same guy with AA against his AK. We agreed to run it twice, I won both and I scooped healthy pot of $450+. This session reversed my losses for the day. Table eventually broke and I headed over to the 1-1 PLO game.

Busted my first buy-in when my AAQ10 did not hold up in a three-way all-in pot. Fish with xx66 proudly announced to the table that he wanted "to gamble", called and hit his trips on the flop.

After I was down $50 on my second buy-in, I just wasn't feeling it for the session and decided to stop playing.

Slept for a few hours, then headed over to Naga for the 1-2 NLHE game. In hindsight, I should have stopped playing altogether and pamper myself with a nice 2-hour massage. Too much grinding had affected my abilities to remain focused and disciplined. What happened was that on a 955 flop, I jammed ($200) A9 into my opponent's bet of $25. I actually read him for an overpair (10 10+). And I was (almost) right. He snapped off and turned over 99 for a flopped boat. Drawing dead. FML!

Sigh...I know my reading abilities can be pretty acute at times. I just choose not to follow through. My $200 buy-in just went poof!

Decided to degen at the table games again. Same story, was down -$150 at one point. Then went on a mini heater at the five card stud/ultimate texas hold'em table games, reversing my losses to a nice profit of $150+. Decided to stop when my winnings was whittled down to $115.

For players who are contemplating whether to fly into Phnom Penh to grind live poker long-term, I have provided one week's worth of my records for you to use it as a reference. I am a little disappointed with my results but a win is a win. I'll happily take it any day.

Had I played my A+ game the past week, make minimal mistakes, no bad beats/coolers, I figured I should have been up at least $1.5K. Oh well...

Can someone living in Cambodia send me a DM. I'm currently living in Thailand but am interested in moving to Cambodia. My preference would be Sihankouville. I want to hear about everything from the live games, nightlife, women, and safety. Thanks and I look forward to speaking.
