Uhh those are like all my posts wrt to pokermage, except the coaching/ebook stuff. But ok. Thanks for your insight.

And just because someone advocated tipping staff at RK doesn't mean non-tippers are being berated. Jeez.

Well you post your wins and losses in here all the time, so it's not exactly rocket science.

And yea, if you didn't consistently tank, slowroll, and act like you just won the lottery when you win a decent sized pot I would have no problem with you.

Wow, the last few pages have been hilarious

- A moron with 61 posts who has never left the US commenting on a cambodian thread, berating a guy providing content, yet has provided nothing but 61 posts of complete horse****
- A short stacker who tanks decisions for less then 50BB... wonders why hes receiving hate (Im still super confused with the single man photos, is it weird asking someone to take a photo of you and then you pose?)

Props for PT still providing awesome content and updates

On an unrelated note, Macau games are struggling right now and surprisingly full of russians, sounds like a lot of the grinders heading over to PP in the next few months, should make for some larger/busier games at RK/NW.

It's one's right to play short, medium, big stacked. Who the **** are you to judge? Any player has the right to tank. Other players have the right to call the clock. Any dunce with half a brain can figure that out.

Don't like me tanking? Call the clock then. Idiot has not even played a single session with me yet he's commenting like he knows it all. Ah...maybe he does. Explains why he is so full of ****.

I can pose all I want. None of your ****ing business. If you find it weird, then **** off from my posts. You don't even have to read it in the first place.

On a related note, hasn't your mama taught you to shut your pie hole if you have nothing nice to say?

We would be more than happy to spread any heads up match once WarMage gets back. Now can we please get back to talking about banging whores?

Well if he's bad for the game I'd just have to take your word for it. Even so what if some other genuine fish reads your posts and is put off playing. Berate him in private or say nothing is the best strat.

And a marginal winner is still the fish relative to you, is Cambo full of bigger fish who'll take his seat if you got rid of him? There's only 1 or 2 tables that run.

The tipping thing was a guy telling others to tip, not just advocating, then when we said the whole point of tipping is it's optional out came a ton of insults, it all got deleted maybe you missed it.

Pretty much the entire scene live down in snookytown. I never quite understood that. I am more than happy to take pointers from sharks even if it comes with a bit of berating.

would appreciate if someone could advise on getting set up for pokerstars over there

Thank you in advance and will definitely buy you a meal if i'm there

Get a rental contract/agreement of at least six months (could probably fake one quite easily if you don't have one), scan that and a copy of your passport and visa. Send to PokerStars. Wait a day. All set to play online. Numerous deposit options, I like Neteller and skrill. Not too difficult.

The best thing to do would be to contact Stars and tell them exactly what you intend to do so they can advise you on how to proceed. There have been those who have traveled here without consulting them and had issues with getting money on and off the site. I'm guessing that they'll tell you that you need to provide some proof of residing in Cambodia such as a bank account, rental agreement and a utility bill. These are all things you can get, but it will probably take you a bit over a month since you'll need at least a 6 month extended visa before a bank will open up an account for you. Speaking of this, be sure to get an E-visa when you arrive, otherwise known as an ordinary visa or business visa. It's $5 more but will allow you to extend after the first month up to a year. This will allow you to get all the documentation you need.

Someone asked a while back if I intend on doing a blog. I've given serious thought lately to making a definitive guide to moving and living here. This would include not only an updated blog, but also advice on obtaining the correct visa, restaurant guide, a realistic rundown of how much things cost here, the nightlife and of course the poker scene. Just last night we had some issues as we took a tuk tuk from an Indian restaurant in BKK1 to Pontoon. This ride should only be $2, but since there was 5 of us crammed in there and we put the guy's bike to the test I was willing to give him $3. But when we got to our destination and handed the driver the money, he started screaming at us to give him $5 and walked with us halfway down the street. There was no way we were giving him another $1 and neither should anyone else. And later on a friend had some issues with a girl who asked for way too much after the deed and he basically had to flee the situation. Cambodia can be a great place to live but the experience can often be marred by a lack of research and knowledge into how things work here.

I think you should do it, would be really useful for people and you can at the least get some free meals for reviewing restaurants!

He's not being berated for being a fish! He's being berated for tanking, slow rolling, hit and running, and being a douche when he wins a big pot.

All things considered if I had to choose at random, I would take 95% of the Naga playing pool over PM.

I can't speak for the other stuff but ABA bank opens up accounts for foreigners on a tourist visa.

It's probably the nut best quote and best advice you could come up with though, me and you know better than anyone discipline is the key.... if you can sit tight and live a decent healthy disciplined lifestyle when you have a lot of money you'll be fine... but we are straight down 104 spending hundreds a night or doing $100 flips till we're broke then rinse and repeat...

Unless you've got a 9-5 here it's very hard not to become a complete degen, a walk down 172/136/130 will tell you all you need to know about some of the foreigners here... they are broken, lost souls on the way out.

I can't speak for other banks, but it's the written policy of ABA to not open bank accounts for people who don't have at least a 6 month extended E-visa. But this policy is not always enforced and it really depends on who you get on the day you walk in. Take a chance and there's a decent shot that you'll get someone who will open an account for you.

If $5 is the going rate then I would have no issue paying it. But it's not and the driver knows it. We happened to have a couple of tourists in the tuk tuk and he was trying to take advantage. Believe me when I say that I'm not a life nit; anyone who's gone out with me can attest to that. But there are other issues that most don't think about because something like paying a tuk tuk driver seems trivial. For example, when expats and tourists artificially inflate the price of something like this, we do so at a rate that the locals simply cannot keep up with. The drivers have less and less incentive to pick up locals because they pay far less. If our driver gets away with charging us $5, then that's many more locals that he will simply drive by and not bother picking up. Ever wonder why there are so many motos on the street with a family of five crammed onto it?

I for one loved hearing about these limp reraises. I wonder if this strategy mixes in some limp reraise bluffs or is more the strategy in K2Ds poker book of just limp reraising KK+.
