Canadian PR, Presently unemployed, Want a 1 month vacation in the US

Canadian PR. Have a US visitor visa and crossed the border multiple times in the past to play at neighbouring casinos overnight. Want to visit family in the US (on the opposite coast) for a month this Summer. Problem is I quit my job 3-4 months ago and have been travelling since then. I want to make this trip happen before getting a new job obviously, as I'd never get a 1 month leave while working.
How do I deal with this while crossing the border? I don't want to come off as a potential immigrant.
