Generating Interest for Budapest Poker House - Page 9

Hello, im a 6maxHU midstakes grinder from montreal canada. i will be landing in buda in about 2 weeks and i plan to stay there for 3-6 months. Planning to grind a lot!

My interest are : Finance, gym/squash/riding a bike, world history, food nightclubs and girls

Im just a standard canadian that is easy to get along with, im really looking forward to be part of that community. Also open to rent something with roomates!

I am going probably last week of august to budapest. I was going with my girlfriend, but it went out. So it is my first time going alone. Anyone got tips where to stay and tips in general? And if someone wants to grab a drink in that period sent me a pm.

Bumping this thread guys.
Few questions I need an answer to. ASAPPPP!!!!

1.Can you tell me what the live poker scene is like, cash games(limits), tourney(runners and entry fees)?

2. Can I find a decent/modern 1 bedroom apartment for $500 in D5,6,7, close to Vaci street?

3. Are there a lot of players in Budapest, do you guys hang out, go for dinners or parties etc...

Looking at my next destination and am torn between a few places. Hopefully this will clear things up for me.

Bump. Will be moving to Budapest in the end of May. Ive read this thread, thanks for the info. What kind of prices are now normal for a 2 bedroom apartment in district 5,6 or 7?
Also, does anyone have a reliable realtor? Thanks.
