Traveling from Buffalo to Philadelphia in a couple weeks for vacation. Were looking to stop about half way and stay the night. Does anybody have suggestions on something cool to do around the central PA?

I'd say these are far and away the most entertaining things to do in central PA for a family

Gettysburg. I'm not sure if that is on your way, but it's a great day trip if you are even remotely interested in history.

Hershey Park is a really big tourist deal. Definitely the place to take a family.

Also Poconos raceway if you're into that I guess.

There isn't much to get excited about in central pa. But the chocolate thing in Hershey should be good. Might be more of an all day thing though than a couple hours.
