regarding live games, i recommend Resorts World with lower rake (5 pct capped at 300 I think) and games that start early (if there is no table from the night before, games start around noon which I like, playing fresh, walking up to there.. not sure how long from your place) .. you can find out the action at the poker room number : +63 9178728190
if no games running, sometimes they accept to put your name on the board
they also have an excellent exchange rate booth near the big sport screens

my experience (was last there in january) is you will know most people after 1 week (some are there since 2 years almost daily). If you don't force it and are patient/low variance/play post flop.. you ll get easy/stable money .. meaning if you do the hours (5 to 7 hours), you'll average at least 1 BI a day.. which is 2k at 25-50, only 1 losing day a week..
OMC are very readable there, and most local women are extra juicy.. pun intended
you MUST be alert and ask for seat change to the better table, and you can restart at min buy-in when you do change table...

he wont average a buy in per day that's for sure, and yes im willing to bet against it.

He's basing that on a 40 bb buy in, bust still probably not.

That sounds promising and would be worth a try if I had the roll but I'm not going to put aside 2 months of living expenses for poker, at least not at this point.

I didn't go to our 2nd date today, I'm sick and maybe nervous to get friendzoned lol. And yes she is the definition of a time waster. She's on Tinder but told me she didn't like how the 2 guys she met before me "only wanted to hook up" but also isn't looking for a relationship. So she doesn't want sex nor a relationship yet she's on Tinder. Anyway I'm making my mission to change her mind. Yes she's that hot.

2 months of living expenses??? you don't need a 20 BI roll to go nit it up there on a min BI for a couple of hours until you find that sure spot ... go there and observe for yourself before you sit down.. unless you have no live cash poker experience to categorize players..
just nit it up and play post flop.. double up and go south to another table

RW is the consistent softest live spot I ever played in (out of 25).. if you are down 3 BI before making money, sorry to tell you the fish is you

I have no experience buying in short or playing live. I guess it can't be that hard but I find it hard to believe I'd easily run it up from a 300 bb roll without running hot.

I've turned one of these around once. Tinder girl. First date : great chat, she had visited Romania (my first coach was from there, I was hyped up about it). At the end, 1 not so passionate kiss. She says wants to take it easy, is not experienced blahblablah.

I go into another date, but she's so much fun that I can't try to force it sexual.
**** IT I GIVE UP.gif

Fast forward 3 months later, I have a theater presentation (she's into that). For some reason she's there. After it ends, she comes by and says "hey, you were great etc etc", I try to ignore her the best that I can "Oh, thanks. I'm gonna talk to my family now." In my mind I'm like I wanna get deep in those sugar walls so bad.

Then she starts chit chat on FB, we go on a date. I try to make it as shitty as possible. (meet on a public place, no food, pretend I'm just bored). Then she gets flirty and we talk about sex. I say that I'll take her on a special date if she can make me cum with a BJ.

Then she does it in the woods (didn't finish tho).

There are some other ONEitis of mine that I'm trying to ignore. One of them told her sister that "she is mad at me cause I turned into an *******" lmao.

TDLR : go on a date, start off enthusiastic, then slow the pace and make it seem like you are bored with her. Girls like attention more than anything and will do whatever it takes to "not lose you".

Sounds like you're talking about Western girls. But I'll take it to heart, giving her too much attention is probably bad in any part of the world and I've made that mistake with Western girls in the past.

Hey Info, what do you usually eat ?
Are groceries cheap?
What is the cheapest/best kind of animal protein you can find?
Fresh veggies availiable?

I usually cook at home once a day - salmon (100g a day) with veggies. The rest of the day I eat fruits and more veggies. On lazy days I order pizza or buy street food. If I just buy from supermarket I spend about $8 a day.

Supermarket prices are similar to Europe. I think you can save a lot on street markets but I haven't checked them out yet. They also have fresh vegetables.

I don't know what's the cheapest animal protein, salmon is the only animal product I eat from the supermarket and it's obviously not cheap (fresh filet about $2.5 per 100g). But street food is cheap, for example you can get small grilled pork sticks or beef sticks for $0.20 each (but they're really small, 50 grams or less). Idk about eggs and dairy prices.

if you switch from salmon to chicken you could be spending under $5 a day easily

Probably but I'd rather be nitty with everything else in life. I love my salmon

chicken doesn't even compare to salmon... you have to make like 1hr preparation for it to not taste like ****

with salmon you just fry it and hnnnnnnnnnng tastes great

can you find all kinds of seasoning ? black, red pepper, garlic, ginger, turmeric, etc?

I love cooking soup dayem
really easy, tasty, healthy and cheap

but it takes 1~2 hours to cook and eat

I throw chicken on a grill with seasonings and make stir frys or salads and its cheap, tasty, and quick.

Also +1 on jspills post about girls. You need to know you have more value then her and just not care to much about any one girl.

Lol at claiming you've never gone on a 3+ BI downswing in your life. Of course you have, everybody has.

There's a lot of ways to make good tasting chicken in under 10 minutes. Or just prep for a week if you're going to spend a ton of time on it.

Salmon is great but very expensive calorie per calorie or any other metric you want to use.

Seasonings are very cheap.

Yesterday I bought apples at the supermarket without checking the price because it's just apple, it can't be expensive.

It was $8 for 4 apples. #baller

Have I claimed that ?
I said.. in THIS particular set of circumstances :
- with live cash poker experience categorizing players
- short stacking 40 BB and nitting it up extra after observing table first
- only at RW
- table changing + going south with profits doing that

In THESE circumstances, if one STARTS with a - 3 BI... one is fish

he has NO live cash xperience -> hence it's the correct decision to not do it with his bankroll

Best approach is to not put too much thought or care into what they say just lots of smileys and hahas, keep the mood light get them in your room somehow and bang

If you ever find yourself overly invested in what one girl is saying or doing then you're not talking to enough girls, expand your rotation so you don't have time to care.

Should always have backup options in case one flakes, or vanishes, ideally you have so many that you almost forget some exist then come across them as you're scrolling through your contacts and just send oh hey kumusta :P with a pic of what you're eating to start things up again

Don't get a serious girlfriend in your first 6mos in asia or until you've banged a few dozen girls, whichever comes first.

I'd just put in 5 mins a week of small talk with the 18yo until she's a bit older. Plus you backing off a bit will make her want to earn your attention again plus make her think you're a good guy who wasn't just after sex. Little does she know you were just banging other chicks in the meantime as research into how much they lie and play games

Doesn't this approach make you feel kinda lonely in Asia?

Don't get me wrong, I love sex and I wish in my 25 days here I had already ****ed 20 girls instead of one. But at the same time I wouldn't mind having a top 0.1% girl that I enjoy talking to and spend time with her for more than just sex provided that she's also after for more than just money or a green card. And I think I may have found a girl like that and she's definitely in the top 0.1% for me.

No I was never lonely I was seeing multiple girls and enjoying being white dude in Asia . I was never focused on just one girl or trying to figure out my next line message to a girl I just met. Eventually I met my current gf who I decided I would keep around.

You should at least date a bunch of girls before u decide what the perfect Asian girl is.

it's a learning curve to find and prepare cheap healthy food..
supermarket is bad value.. learn the local food market..

maybe it's seasonal but this year I discovered 2 vegetables
(sadly enough vegetables from Baguio are not spread down to Manila (leaks, spinach..) :
- 'sayote'.. is a cheap tasty vegetable looking like potato when cooked
- 'bagui beans'.. It tastes like lentils

both prepared with chicken and rice.. =
- TINOLANG MANOK/chicken
- MUNGO manok/chicken

I wouldn't be cheap on the rice selection .. jasmin rice +

the local more squared banana (has a different name) and baby coconut will give you strength and energy for cheap
for fresh citrus 'tea' you can look for DaLandin or mix it with a bit of Kalamanse

oct-dec : leansones .. some kind of lyche to press open and peal, my favorite

you should not be over 200 php per day on homecooked food..
standard blue bottled local water of 15l ? for 50 php to go with it

i would rather by the chicken from the super market then from a local market, never once got sick and it is extremely cheap even with the markup, who knows how long the local market chicken is sitting out

probably easier to go on a 3 BI downswing on a short stack then on a deep stack, if you buy in for 40 bb's your AK gonna run into AA and KK that you really cant fold against, or lose races, ditto your QQ

the meat shops :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lazE6pAdgGc

i prefer the market where they cut the chicken fresh in front of you, but yeah if you don't trust the people you buying from with a local person,
I never got ill from supermarket chicken either.. best is said to be Monterey Meat shops

-3BI playing short(40bb) is -120bb
-3BI playing full stacked (100bb) is -300bb

strong logic, dante

yeah playing short (and nitty) gives you less variance, but you also have a lower winrate (which also gives u a little more chance of a downswing)

Hope OP doesn't resort to playing... could **** with his liferoll
