This summer I am going on vacation to deerfield beach and was just wondering if anyone can let me know about the card rooms in the area?? I know there is one called the Seminole Coconut Creek or something like that... can anyone let me know

The closest card room to Deerfield will be the Isle in Pompano, I-95 south to Cypress Creek or Atlantic, make a right (west) less than a mile. By far the nicest card room in south Florida, good pizza restaurant.

Coconut Creek is off of Sample Road and farther west, about 6-8 miles? Very small room, perhaps the worst in south Florida, but many people seem to think it has the most action. Fairly young crowd.

Hard Rock is not too far from you, take I-95 south to 595 west to 441 south, probably 20-30 minutes depending upon traffic. Only place in south Florida to play Black Jack, Baccarate (sp?), etc.

All of the above rooms will have 1/2, 2/5, & 5/10 No limit, but in case you are unaware, by Florida law all poker games have a maximum $100 buy-in. Definitely changes the dynamics of tghegame until people build up their stacks. 5/10 is a complete all-in donkey shove fest--horrible poker, but very entertaining to watch, i.e., one player shoves with their pocket aces, gets 5-6 callers, and then goes on a verbal tirade when their aces get cracked by one of the morons who called with 3/8 offsuit.
