Anyone been to Burma recently?

I know they just started isuing the new "visa on arrival" in June. Has anyone gone through it yet?

i have been there in april and going back there at the end of this month. I heard the VOA is only for business visas. It is also more expensive than getting it done at the embassy.

In the past they issued VOA and then one day changed their mind. People landed at the airport and were turned back. Given their recent attempts to placate the international community I wouldn't expect this to happen again but it is certainly possible and there is a risk of them changing policy on a whim. (I am not aware of the new VOA and who is eligible etc fyi)

The visa is easy to pick up in Bangkok, can be done the same day for a little more money.
