I'm going to Berlin on a study trip next week and besides a few hours every morning we will be on our own.
So looking for any recommendations for 20-26 year olds to do in Berlin.
Any tips and ideas are welcome.

Rent a bike for sure. Best way to see the city.

Most of the cool bars are in East Berlin, check the Oranienburger Strasse area. There are sometimes organized pub crawls, or you can just wing it. All of Mitte is worth checking out, day or night (though it can get pretty touristy).

Riding a bike is indeed a great way to get to know the city, and traffic is very respectful of bicycles.

Do the Fat Tyre bike tour that starts from the tv tower in Alexanderplatz at about 11am, not particularly cheap at €22 or something, but would still completely recommend it. A great way to see the city, learn about the history and meet some people.
