That's a LOT of electricity, are you paying for the neighbours as well? I'm looking at my bill with 109 kilowatts used last month and total price 600 baht (and that's not too good per unit). My house is two bedrooms, using aircon while sleeping plus a few hours during the day.

Re: Ask us about Thailand!

i have a pool, ac in 2 rooms and a small clinic on the property. we paid 5k for electricity last month. This is the most we have paid, due to very hot weather right now.

well they got 3 guys(+some girls?) living in a big house. probably around 5(?) aircons there and pretty sure they are sometimes open a bit too much ?

also it's the hottest time of the year so using aircon in the day costs even more

i'm pretty sure if they are there with the same roster in october they are easily going to shave couple of k from that bill

Re: Ask us about Thailand!

my question is how do you use only 109kW a month if you always use aircon when you sleep?

I guess that was misleading, since it's on "auto" and will probably be idling for a couple/few hours late at night or early morning. Nights are kinda cool here.

Re: Ask us about Thailand!

Hi people, I apologize for the question as I suppose it's been answered multiple times, but here goes: I'm visiting family in Laos pretty soon, and am looking for a cheap flight to Thailand from Europe for end of april/early may. I currently live in France, but can leave from anywhere <1500 km away from Paris if it saves me some money. So far I've found some flights around 600 euros return, is there anyway I can get that price down? Which city/company do you recommend? Cheers!
Jeff

Re: Ask us about Thailand!

600e is pretty good price for return imo

you wont get under that if you dont find some good promotion where the dates match

Re: Ask us about Thailand!

Hey guys,

Can anyone recommend any short term studio/1-br condo/apartments, or serviced residences in BKK?

I'm looking to stay for about a month maybe two.

How much should I be spending for a nice place in good location with pool and gym?

I don't think student is a good one because if they check into it (they won't) you have no student card or proof ect. I just put investor.
