I had the EXACT same BoA problem. Safepass is the stupidest invention I have ever seen. I talked to some lady on BoA online chat telling her I can't type in my phone number because my number is not in the US (They give u 10 digit max). She provides no help after 45 minutes and I go back to ATMfks.

How long you gonna stay? exactly how cheap do you want it?

Ive been house hunting a bunch the last couple of weeks and stumbled upon quite a few decent/semi-decent 3br houses in the 20-30k range but its definitely possible to go cheaper depending on how busto your friends are and how horrible you want to live

Alright, we will stay for 3 month's. About my friend they are all busto, in fact i will pay the major part of the appartement, so i would like something cheap but not so much, let's say around 500 to 1000$ max. Do you have any picture of what is possible to find around these price?

ive checked out leraffine, wasnt as nice as in the pictures, and pretty small for the price, location in between bts stations, but pretty much right on sukhomvit. still pretty baller. u can get some really big 4br penthouses for around the same price...

The best price you will get driving around on your own and not going through real estate agents but to get an idea you could plug in 16k min and 30k max on http://www.siamrealestate.com and http://www.houseinphuket.com
The prices on the websites are probably 10%-20% higher than what you get finding the places on your own.
Also the driving around on your own bit gets you a good feel for the different areas on Phuket and it is a bit more exciting as you can run good and stumble across a really good deal
