Granted I told them I was a student but didn't have my student card, then I changed my story and said I was a freelance web developer and she was like do you have a website (I do but it's literally all about poker) and was like nah.

I walked into krungsri bank and had a bank account, ATM card, internet banking etc, all setup within 25 minutes. Good lads in there, bitta banta and I didn't have to do any paperwork, was nuts.

No interrogation or IDC, just 10 mins of paperwork, the fine, and then go catch your flight. They won't ask that question

What's your favorite legit massage place within 5 minute walking distance of BTS or MRT station?

Yesterday, I found Spring massage in the Times Square building connected via walkway from BTS ASOK exit 5. It was 800 baht for 60 minutes head neck back massage. The place is clean and new unlike most massages in the soi's. The older lady had decent pressure but not the best. I'd give the place a 7/10 for clean venue and better than average massage but a bit on the expensive side. Tipped her 280 baht.

Day before yesterday, I went to Lemongrass massage right off of Huai Khwang MRT exit 3. It was 500 baht for 60 minutes neck back massage. The place is a bit old but still clean enough. The masseuse was a lady or was she a man I'm not sure. When she enter the room, she immediately without warning pulled off my boxer while I was laying face down on the massage table. She then cover me with a sheet. And proceeded to give a great massage with deep pressure and at the right spots and technique. One issue I had was that I was completely naked and she keeps accidentally touching my unit, and says "no shy". While pointing at my privates she asks "massage?", which I firmly responded "Mai!". Overall I'd give the place a 7.5. Masseuse had very good techniques and was strong, price was reasonable, but the place is a bit old and masseuse was a pervert. Tipped her 300 baht.

I think I'm over tipping. What do you guys normally tip for these massages?

Normal tip is 500 baht for a handjob. Absolutely baffled why you are tipping 300 baht and not wanting to be touched. Each to their own though.

Christ those are expensive massages, are you purposefully choosing the places most tourist friendly? Would be expecting to pay ~250bht/hour thai massage, and I tip 100bht(I think thats more than most customers).

Few things you can look out for if not looking to get tossed off, older ladies, wearing uniform, 'No Sex!' sign on the door. Although obviously not 100% guarantee.
