That school wasn't doing that deal around 2014-2015 because of all the heat from immigration inspecting the students' attendance. I tried at the time.

But they were before that (I did it there before), and now they are again. So presumably they aren't being monitored anymore. The 'ed visa clampdown' seems over, to whatever extent it existed. These things can come and go in cycles.

Means tourist visa.

Much more fun and hotter chicks in Saigon IMO, and there are visa agents in District 1 who just do everything for you for like $90, no chance of rejection.

But you aren't going to be rejected in Vientiane unless like BKKYOLO it's like your 6th in a row from there. Surprised he went 6 times cos normally they'll tell you in advance on the 4th or 5th time, that you might get rejected the next time, then you just go somewhere else.

I did not go to Vientiane 6 times in a row.

I have : Europe, PP, Vientiane, PP, Vientiane (5) and got rejected when I went back to Vientiane again.

I actually had 1 warning stamp but it was blurry and not red, I did not notice it so be careful guys

I just got a TR in one of the hardest, so i am told, Thai Embassys - not consulates - In the world i.e London.

Did it on an off chance thinking i may well get rejected as my passport is almost full with TR's and waivers, but sent it in by post and got in back within 3 days with a new TR visa.

However the visa clamp down has been, in effect, and a looming Domesday for us all since way before lol69, in 2003 there was a massive clampdown started and the likes of DrPatPong on Thaivisa were saying it's all over for everyone, so yeah w/e.

Same ol BS comes and goes and while the lifeless haters wish ill upon everyone else, everyone else is OUT THERE RAZOR SHARP AND LOVING IT.

It's the first time I will try to get visa outside of my country.
I've been to saigon already so I would like to go somewhere else.. not just get visa but see something on the way, try new food etc., and laos or cambodia are the easiest.

Penang is okay for a few days, and easy visa via agents.

Ok so 5 times in a row in Vientiane? That's a pretty good run, can you start a thaivisa thread with pics to piss people off there. Or send me the pics and I'll do it for you I'm gonna start one about 8 months on visa exemption.

Yeah the red stamp means you'll get rejected next time. It says proof of income will be required next time, but in practice it means pick a new consulate.

Do you guys travel with your 2nd screen in the suitcase? I feel like I will have my laptop on my arm, the guy asks to open suitcase and sees 21' screen and go like wtf? Or hes like...hmm..ok another guy with laptop and additional screen, he certainly going to travel a lot..welcome in BKK.. ?? Or is it better to leave it and get another one in Thailand for 150% of its reall worth. If you dont care about money thats fine I guess. And any option to sell it to someone before leaving? Or how to procced then if the plan is to go Vietnam, Cambodia or whatever... Thanks

Just say you like to watch movies if anyone asks. I was actually wondering the same thing, because I plan to bring my 27 Inch with me, don't they like insta think, owh this guy is going to be working "illegally here". That's what I assumed they'd be thinking anyway. In which case I will simply state that I like to watch movies a lot!

theres almost always someone leaving and selling a monitor, or that has an extra lying around. worst case you buy a new one then sell it to another poker player if you leave.

in regards to the visa talk, i just got an METV real easily from Toronto(im an american btw). When you visit back home I suggest emailing different consulates before applying and asking directly what you should bring with you. Some will want proof of employment in home country, bank statements , etc but some will only want the visa form, picture, and $200.

After not being in Bangkok for quite a while I'm shocked by the prices. A dish at a restaurant I like is now 350 compared to 250 18 months ago. Oysters 65 instead of 45. Gogos expensive too. Bangkok is still a lot of fun and even with prices increasing again in the gogos I'll still pay, but it's not the good value it used to be. Compared to elsewhere in the region Bangkok is relatively expensive (except Singapore). I can no longer justify coming here more than one week per year. Too many better value (but slightly less fun) options.

Pattaya was very cheap. Found an 18 year old in Soi 6 with incredible body. 1k baht plus 300 BF. I felt like telling her you would get 3.5k ST on walking street. Perfect body no baby. The rest on Soi 6 were old and ugly. Of course draft beer cheap everywhere.

School told me that I basically have to get an extension and then come back before that one expires. Doesn't seem worth it to spend a day at immigration for a 1 month visa.

Also I just flew back in and got another visa exemption after spending the last 180 days on visa exemptions, they didn't even ask to see my onward ticket.
That sounds great, Ill send you a pm
