I used entropay with thai address on account, haven't heard anything about them banning thailand

Got denied but maybe it was because i used it from korea with vpn and for some reason that would't work ?

Today i tried neteller from japan didn't work (but japan's ways to pay doesnt show neteller so makes sense, there is mastercard doe)
After that i tried mastercard but got a message that i need to contact them regarding my account (coz i got too many fail deposit attempts recently), but maybe the credit card attempt didnt get a try, i'll wait a few days or a week and try with credit card again

Has anyone had problems depositing to Skrill / Neteller from their Thai bank account?

Apparently I have to go in to a Bangkok Bank branch and fill out a form to be able to do an international transfer and one of the documents I need to provide is proof of employment, has anyone gone through this before and if so what happened? I'm obviously not employed in Thailand, what can I say to get around it?

You have to register online for your card, google verified by visa bangkok bank (bualuang Ipay, then click Apply online), then deposit to Entropay with your visa, on Entropay create a virtual card then deposit with this card on Neteller and Voila!

Jspill,
Can you tell us the bit coin way again?
Can't you go Thai bank> bit coin>neteller for less fees and a better exchange rate?

I think someone else suggested that, I don't use neteller

I have just noticed Skrill allow bitcoin deposits, so you could go Thai bank -> bitcoin -> Skrill -> Poker site. I'm not yet sure about withdrawing though.

Both Skrill and Neteller are 1% fees and I think Jspill mentioned earlier to use coins.co.th which give a good exchange rate in and out of your bank account.
So from very little research is "appears" that the fees and rates are much better via the bitcoin route but what's up with the daily fluctuations of bitcoin itself?

For you crypto experts, I see that some bitcoin transactions can take a couple of days sometimes. How if the bitcoin rate given? Do you get the exchange rate at the time of order or is it at time of processing?
For instance I saw bitcoin had a $300 swing today. Are you just at the mercy of those swings when doing transactions?
Note that I have no idea how bitcoin transactions work so I hope you can get the gist of my question.

Anyone mind giving some tips for a 7 night trip for my buddies that have never been to Thailand? I've lived in Pattaya before but never really done the whole touristy stuff around Thailand.

Mainly degen nights out + a pic or 2 of some touristy stuff is the objective.

Is the full moon party worth going to? Bkk 3 nights, Pattaya 2 nights, phuket 2 nights?

Any advice would be helpful, thanks!

I think doing 3 locations in 7 nights is a mistake. For sure get them to extend their time to 10 days in country and then you can do the 3 spots you mentioned.

I'd stay at landmark hotel and party at soi nana next door for a few nights, do tons of hookers, then go to kanchanaburi and do erawan falls, 7 flights of waterfalls that you can swim in up a mountain. Only 3 hrs from BKK, tour companies can pick you up from your bkk hotel and take you there then to a hotel then back to bkk next day all for like $50. One night there, bit of rafting the next morning, stay in any of the sai yok hotels like the floathouse river kwai. Then back to BKK few nights at grande centre point hotel terminal 21, party at soi cowboy just over the walkway for last few nights, do tons more hookers. Blowjob bars, all the gogos, thermae freelancer bar.

hmmm, seems like you arent leaving enough time for hookers imo. ^ Ill take a look at erawan falls, thanks.

Negative on the extension. I told them it's almost not worth it for 7 nights but that's all they could get off work.

They seem set on going to the "full moon party". Is that a dumb idea? I mean why travel across the world to party with a bunch of foreign backpackers right?

Full moon party seems like something that could be really fun or totally suck. If that is their scene then it'd be cool to experience it I think. It's going to eat into their hooker time as it's a 3 day event for travel and all that + plus epic hangover.
A bunch of friends on vacation in Thailand you're going to have fun regardless though.

Only a week thats not much time with hangovers and possibly falling in love with a hooker or two. Just do BKK for the night you arrive and the night before you leave do the rest in Pattaya

Anybody here ever put money into Neteller using their kasikorn kweb card? If so what option in Neteller do you use to make the deposit? Is it just a visa card? ty

There really should be casinos in Pattaya and Phuket. They would be massive cash cows. Personally I can't ever see it being allowed though especially with the current government.

When Phuket Fantasea was built, it was originally intended to include a casino, but alas.

Hey guys, just posting a little info for some of you who might be in the same spot as me. I'm Australian and have recently moved to Thailand/Asia given the upcoming ban on online poker we have here. I booked an airbnb as I plan on moving around, and am only using tourist visas for now. I sent Stars the airbnb invoice but they didn't accept it, so I started the process of trying to get a bank account on tourist visas, which wasn't that easy. Bangkok bank gave me a 'certified letter' form and asked me to take it to my embassy, the embassy wouldn't sign it but made me rewrite it on a statutory declaration form, pay 1760 baht, and then stamped+signed that. It basically just said my name, address in Australia and in Thailand, and my signature. The embassy didn't verify anything (not that I was lying), I took a picture of it before I gave it to the bank and sent it to stars, and stars actually accepted it.
