have you been drinking in itaewon? There are a few bars there I love, mainly b1. There's also a really good hookah over there but it's run by middle easterns which means, no alcohol.

oh and club answer was awesome.
The room salon I went to was basically the same as a gclub in Bankok except wayyyy more expensive. I think the one I went to in Seoul was called Mozart but not sure.

there's one in itaewon called Welcome Dubai or something like that. Their quality is really good. If I'm in the mood to go out, I like going to Rainbow in 강남. They've got some pretty interesting flavors. Although I really hate 강남역, drinking in 신촌 is better than there imo

Re: Ask A Pro about Living in Seoul, South Korea

Going out to chill vs. going out to get drunk

Dubai - bad food, meh atmosphere, good hookah.

Rainbow - good hookah as in cool flavors, drinks, lots of people go on weekends, and if I'm traveling for 40 mins to get there (i live in 경복궁) I'm set on getting drunk that night.

해피? 알아들었어?ㅋㅋ

Those stories about Crazy are epic man. Minus the car ride that's friggin awesome. How is Crazy pulling these ridic. hot sounding women?

This is actually something I aspire to do. Traveling around the world teaching English is pretty sweet. I'll have my EU citizenship in a year and I'll have no problem bouncing around from country to country teaching English within the EU countries.

Re: Ask A Pro about Living in Seoul, South Korea

probably because he didn't want to go to the army.

21 year olds have to serve a mandatory 2 year service to the Korean Army. Skip out and you'll never be allowed to come back.

There's a pretty infamous incident w/a rapper, yoo seung jun, who basically did that and to this day he's not allowed back

he had a really good song too:

cheasy video tho :P

My thread covers various questions about South Korea. My knowledge base has improved immensely over time (as you would expect) so I am able to answer more questions about the country.

Rekrul and Syous would be the most knowledgeable about Seoul. I've only been there for a week since I got here and wasn't that excited about it. Though my opinions were overly harsh and highly generalized, they were truthful to me.

I think you need a certain personality to really enjoy Seoul. You have to be a socially aggressive person to enjoy everything the city has to offer. Many times, I didn't even feel as though I was in South Korea when in Seoul. It was as if Seoul was its own country.

I spent my teenage years living in a small, rural town in a mountainous region of America. So, I am easily overwhelmed in very large city environments and you can't get much larger than Seoul.
