in the first pic the girls a stone cold babe. 8/10, I would smash her and she would be grateful for the honor .

2nd pic, face too round, eyes to far apart, instragram fiter used to hide spots, jawline to chubby, hair style doesnt suit the overall tone of her facial structure, shes like a 4.5/10, shes not ugly, I would stil smash her like a glass hammer, but its not something id go around with in public.

hey was wondering if there are actual online poker grinders that live in korea in this thread? Wanted some perspective on the online poker situation there, as I plan to move there early next year.

Try posting the pics again. Sorry for being the creepy guy haha, just curious how Korean girls compare to the chicks I saw in Taipei and Shanghai.
Korean girls are the hottest in Asia, there's no doubt about that. White guys, Chinese guys, Japanese guys, SE Asians and of course Korean guys will agree about this in general if you ask their opinions on it.

That said, In terms of what is typically pulled by foreigners, everything I have seen and heard is that Taipei is your best bet. My friend used to average about 1 girl a month in Korea and he gets around 4 a month in Taiwan. Numbers aren't everything but his quality seems to be better there, too. I even heard a random story about some dude who couldn't get laid for THREE YEARS in Korea, and he ended up getting with a 20-year old Taiwanese girl his first month in Taipei. I also knew a few former fratboys who did not get laid once in their time here, although they were pretty stubborn and not willing to learn any Korean or act cute and gay in the way that Asian girls prefer.

Even though Korean girls are hotter, the actual tail that the average white guys pulls is going to be better in Taipei. I have heard this from pretty much every white guy I have ever met who has been to both Seoul and Taipei. It's analogous to having a higher overall winrate at 1/2 than 2/4.

Basically, if you have game/money/status, Korean girls are def the best. If you aren't already decent when it comes to picking up chicks it might be better to hit up Taipei. Of course, the best way to figure this out is by actually experiencing each place for yourself.

I'll try to upload the pics one more time, if it doesn't work and you still REALLY want to see I can PM or email.

EDIT: Pics show up on my laptop but not my smartphone, dont know what's up...

a bit pricey, but all of those places usually have lots of hot girls and while they are generally forbidden to meet you outside of work etc they all do it

room salon girls are difficult and you probably need the cash to go atleast a few times and get to know them, but definitely not out of reach for foreigners. if they are attracted to u you can always get them, though it is certainly difficult. i know some white boys that speak fluent korean that have gotten many of them
hmm that's good to know. some of my english teacher friends get these girls from time to time but they can never hold on to them for more than a week or two, i assumed it was because of the money. these girls seem super difficult when i'm hitting on them at the club so maybe I should just try the RS sometime instead haha.

I like all your posts.

Part about Taipei is true IMO as well, because they speak English better there than in Korea in general, and they aren't as 'shy' as Korean girls in general (when it comes to strangers).

Korean girls r hotter though

I've talked to a bunch of white dudes about dating in both countries and the impression that I get is that it's very nichey in that the percentage of girls who are open to dating caucasians is somewhat small (due to language barrier or xenophobia or whatever) but that small percentage is relatively easy to bed. I know in Korea there are some girls who date white guys exclusively and troll the bars in Itaewon, and I imagine there are similar types of girls in Taiwan.

Bruin may be right that Taiwan is easier for picking up than Korea but either way, I don't think either country is a good option for easy pickups because of the low volume. If I had to use a poker analogy, I'd say picking up in Korea and Taiwan is like bumhunting HSNL for 500 hands a month, whereas in many parts of SouthEast Asia you can crush MSNL and get in 50,000 hands a month.

P.S. Japanese girls are the hottest in Asia. imo.

^^That is what we call a limiting belief. I think there are very few Korean girls wo wouldn't date a foreign guy under any circumstances.

I´ve been a regular phils/thai/k2d/korea/vietnam thread reader for some months and want to start making serious Asia plans now. You seem to have a good overview Paul, as I am quite a big travel noob (never been outside of Europe) maybe you can give your opinion on my main question: Where do I have the best chances to lay non hooker girls and not getting robbed/stabbed etc while making my first Asia experiences?

if you're young, white, not hideous and speak korean the sky is the ****ing limit. that's my opinion today. i've never had so much motivation to study something. learning basic korean is now my number 1 tip for any guy having trouble meeting women here. it opens sooooo many opportunities that otherwise aren't there. i'm having more success now than when i was 24, in good shape and clueless. and all because of about 20 hours of aggregate language study.

Just 20 total hours of studying Korean? Are you telling me that many western foreigners living in Korea won't even put in a minimal amount of effort to learn the language?

I agree with you 100% and I've given that same advice to others in the Philippines and had the same conversation with guys in Thailand. The problem is a huge majority of foreigners don't make any effort to learn the local language wherever they are. I've met some guys who have spent over a year in Korea but don't know more than 5 words. These are the type of guys I'm talking about in my previous post.

Yes.

In general they are not in korea long enough to put forth a real effort to learn the language, also even long term english teachers in korea generally just hang out in hongdae/itaewon with english speaking koreans / girls etc so they don't realize how much speaking the language matters

even if you don't speak korean as a foreigner, as long as you are decent looking you will still have a great life and get a lot of attention which is ALOT better than what they'd get in america/etc. most foreigners in korea get spoiled by that and don't realize the treasure chest they can unlock by learning the language. being even semi fluent is just insta respect/interest from all korean people you meet

the language can be very intimidating when you don't speak it at all, but infact it is easy to learn

This is just not true. Most of the girls I've been with had never been with a foreigner before they met me. Of there's no way to know this for sure but I feel like I have some noonchi for this kind of thing after living in Korea. Those guys probably just sucks, which makes sense cuz 70-80% of the foreigners here don't have any game.

Korea can be polarizing. For guys who are already confident, it's basically a playground and paradise. For guys that suck and are coming to Asia expecting to find easy tang, it will most likely be a rude awakening.

I dunno, after meeting Korean girls it's kinda hard to ever take a Thai or Filipina seriously. Sure, there are random unicorns/hotties in every country, but the average SE Asian girl is like a 2 if u put her in Gangnam.

What kind of perspective? I just moved here and I haven't had any problems playing or cashing out to Skrill. The only problem I've experienced is the fulltiltpoker webpage is blocked, but I've still been able to play on Full Tilt.

Plastic surgery is pretty common in Korea so many women go from a 6 to 8/9. I've seen students in 4th grade have the double eyelid surgery.
Kind of unfair to compare someone who is all natural to people altered. Esp in Gangnam since that's a richer part of Seoul.

Some do and others don't. If you're only staying 1 year it's not super important to learn Korean in bigger cities since English level is really good. Outside the bigger cities it makes ordering food and life much easier. Most girls who date foreigners speak decent English.

Not really familiar with skill. What if I wanted to cash out into my Korean bank account and regularly transfer to my us bank account? I'm a us player and am kinda paranoid. Korean government won't close my bank account for receiving payments from pstars?

I have a Canadian bank account. I recommend CIBC. Some canadian banks won't accept poker players, so make sure you ask. All you need is a US passport to open up an account (and one other form of ID). I cashout to Skrill (like Neteller). Then transfer from Skrill to my Canadian account. Then I have them send a money order to my US address, where I have it deposited in my US account.

Are you already unlocked on the sites you want to play? Do you already have a Korean bank account?

I know with countries like Costa Rica and Mexico you needed a utility bill with your name on it to open a bank account. All the Euro sites and Skrill require ID (passport) and proof of residency (copy of your lease or utility bill) to get unlocked / open a new account.

If you have US Bank or Bank of America in the states there are also people that will trade poker money for a bank transfer, but they usually charge at least 5% VIG, and some sites like Lock are only selling for 55c on the dollar.

I never had a problem with it on my D10 (searching for work visa) I'll I was saying is that on a E2 visa (working as teacher) they might think you're doing private teaching lessons or something. Don't worry on a Tourist visa.

Yes, because most Korean moms pay their private tutors with an international bank transfer.

Seriously, have you ever actually thought through this bizzare theory you have?
