Basically some regs were telling fish when to make correct folds. Was really shady.

Can someone sell me some Stars $ for Won? I'll transfer to your bank.

I would search sites like Daves esl cafe, waygook.org Those are well know posting boards but mostly for teaching.

It's very hard to get a non teaching job in Korea if you don't speak Korean from what I've heard.

I may be visiting this super fun city next year. I'm really excited at the chance of being able to go back. There's a lot of restauranting and drinking I want to do over there Realy have to see Jejudo this time. I've heard the food is just amazing but I am concerned about radiation...I wouldn't put it past the gov't to lie about it.

A bit of a fail this thread hasn't convinced anyone to study or live out there. That was some of the most fun I've ever had.

Thanks for the thread Syous. This thread and the contributing posters helped me pick Seoul. Its my 6th day here ^.^

I just need to make more Korean speaking friends and I'll be good. All of my friends are busy with UNI during the weekdays.

Jeju is pretty amazing place. Try coming in Late Sept or Early Oct. The weather isn't so hot and it's easier to get around since it's non tourist time. Might get better rates too. PM if you want specific things to do since my mom just got done visiting here. Cheers.

Making my last trip out to walker hill tonight. Was supposed to have another year out here but my son needs to be back stateside(medical issues) so were heading back stateside anyday now. Had great times in Korea in my 2 years. Both my wife and I are very appreciative of our time here.

I'll be arriving in Seoul in a few days, staying for two weeks, looking to get 2+2's insight for my trip. Probably will be checking out Walker Hill while there if anyone can give any insight into the cash games. Not interested in tournaments. Anywhere else worth looking at for cash games? Always looking to meet new people if anyone is around. How about nightlife? where's the best places to meet women? Any suggestions for bars, clubs, meeting girls, etc.? Anything that's a definite must see? All suggestions are welcome.

Thanks a lot for your help guys.

I don't speak Korean and I am looking for a non teaching job, which highly complicates my search.

If you hear of a job opening in the management/finance/marketing field, please let me know.

The food is pretty damn good but does take a little bit to get adjusted to. Kimchi has strong scent to it so it can take a few times to like it. I can see how some might not like it but 75% of people i know love the food.

pretty curious about trying that black pig! and the seafood obv

marinated crab in gochu is so goddamn good, esp when u get to eat out of the shell w/some rice

this is the soy sauce version, the spicy version is 100x better imo:

1/2 at Walker Hill is really 2/5. Good amount of fish this weekend. I haven't played on weekdays though. The best place to meet women is where you can communicate with them! If you don't speak any Korean I suggest you go to one of these meetups. It starts out as a get together at a bar then everyone hits the club. I was at one last night and it was really ****ing chill. The ratio was perfect with tons of hot girls and very few ugly girls. There were lots of locals and europeans. I suggest you follow rekrul's guide but you will need to make a Korean friend first, one that likes to party. Stay away from Itaewon, it stinks and there is nothing there but military people & horny teachers and one AMAZING breakfast joint(Frying Pan Blue).

Yup, they will handle the transfer. Whoever wants to purchase will just need to go there with me. I haven't seen any guarantee on their facebook or website.
