What do most koreans think about your job, if you ever talked to someone about it?

Yeah I know, that's why I'm asking. Since most of them don't know much about poker, and probably view it as total gambling (like most of the world) and gambling is really restricted in South Korea, I guess it would be pretty hard to explain his job.

No kidding. Once some of my students found out that I played blackjack at Busan, they wanted to make various bets and play games with me. Kind of cute in a way.

What are you doing in Seoul? Isn't jamsil one of the baller areas?

I live right next to 경복궁 and 광화문. Do you know 경희궁이 아침 아파트? I was fortunate enough to get a really sick deal on this apartment. Top floor and no one ever goes on the rooftop, which has a pretty sweet view of the city.

I was told not to mention I play poker but after 8 months I decided, F it, I have enough friends I'll be honest about it.

For the most part I've been getting a lot of positive feedback. My friends/people my age have found it pretty interesting. There's only one girl I can think of who kept saying "it's just gambling" but she's pretty worthless

It's the language barrier that's hard. I have a tough enough time explaining it english.

Oh for sure. Hongdae's an area I've only been to a few times. It's like a maze to me but the places I've been to have been pretty fun.

Have you been to the ice bar there?

My students love playing "One Card", which is basically UNO with a deck of playing cards. Not much of a gambling game. Just saying.

Had a bunch of fun playing against my students.
