Thanks! Yeah, had a couple of good days there. Also, finished 2nd (for $1k) in another package including hotel (that would have been nice!).

Congrats to local player Tyler Jennens for being the runner-up in the APPT Seoul Warm-up (630+70)! Ty finished 5th in last year's Seoul Warmup and also finished 5th in the main event, hope he goes deep again this year!

Also, rooting for another good guy, local Jeff Holbrook who had finished 10th in last years ME.

Disappointed in the updates on the smaller events, (um,, none!) but of course the ME is being reported on...

5:05pm: Holbrook heating up
Level 5: Blinds 200/400 (50 ante)

Jeffrey Holbrook is beginning to find some momentum after increasing the aggression. He just barrelled an opponent of a decent pot and is doing well to accumulate chips.

The board showed Q♣Q♥A♠4♥ and after a check from the only other active player, Holbrook made it 2,200 to go. His opponent called and the 4♠ rolled off on the river.

It was checked to Holbrook again and this time he wanted to play for 5,000. The other player tapped the table with his cards in a frustrated manner before relinquishing the hand to the dealer.

The pot was pushed Holbrook's way and he now has 41,600 in chips. -- BK

Syous, I didn't see any Live PLO running.

I'm trying to find out who binked the PLO Trny and the 350k Deepstack Trny....

As luck may have it, the 2 guys I'm rooting for battling each other at the same table:

6:25pm: Aces no good again for Holbrook
Level 6: Blinds 300/600 (75 ante)

Don't feel too bad for Jeffrey Holbrook - he's been dealt Aces four times today, according to what he just told his tablemates. However, he's lost three of those hands, and the last one was particularly gross.

Canada's Tyler Jennens was all-in with the A♥Q♠ against Holbrook's A♣A♦, but by the river the K♥2♠4♠T♠8♠ board had brought Jennens a flush and another beat for Holbrook. Eww. --JS

Yeah. It was originally scheduled for April, but delayed because of the renovations, I guess. They probably still could of did this after WSOP ends (15 July,) but their schedule looks pretty full and they most likely would of had to change the dates of their other APPT events.

Oh damn, thats right! lol

Reminds me of advice from my Parents:

While I'm in Korea- Mom says be careful about catching MERS, Bird Flu, and Yellow dust- Always wear a mask!
While I'm at home in the US- Dad says be alert for car jackings, drive-by shootings, and getting mugged- Always conceal carry!
A tale of two Cities.

Question for you lads:

Korean Air nonstop to Vegas and back is never below KRW 2M? Do they ever run promos or something?

Okay, it's 12 hours vs for instance Air Canada via Vancouver for ~17 hours, at half price. But still, would be nice to be able to go nonstop for a little bit less...

wow - i didn't know they did non-stops past LA/SF

For a nonstop from Seoul to Vegas, that price sounds right to me if the others are halved for stopping at SF/LA first

Promos unlikely due to low demand.

Ask Kojika. He seems to be the man for your PLO needs.

He got mad as **** when I posted about the details of an under game (busted now) in which he regularly played

lol, not mad as **** at all

I just think it's stupid to talk about underground games on a public forum, and I've never ever been to that game that got busted. I know the guy who was running it cause he is kind of "famous" among the live poker scene in Seoul but that's about it.

Plo ran a little bit during appt. We had some 10-20 games going but that was only the first two days. Most of the players complained about a group of regs minbuying, playing ultra nitty (vpip lower than 10) and hit and running.
