Sounds like a solid plan, might just go with that

true fact: at multiple points/tables over the weekend at borgata 5/10 there were more winning online nl100+ cash game players at the TABLE than i have ever met IRL in korea. if i include other online games i could fill a table...maybe half of them wanna move in together.

this keeps getting proposed but it mean it's just so absurd to do it in a country with key money/where girls are uncomfortable staying over if you have roommates/weather is gross. bacc house with 10 minions to martingale is better idea.

however if anyone wants to do poker house in fort lee for jersey sites lmk.

so i went there again today, pretty soft as always, dropped out 6th place cause i lost A8o vs Q9s on the river :/ that guy hit 3 of his draws on the river today, and there was a lady who was a big whale, reckked me in the end with K6o vs AJo. but yeah, its a lot more comfortable playing the sunday tourneys than the saturday tourneys for sure

Last sundays tourney was pretty easy again. i crushed my table, i went to the ft as 2nd or as cl, i dont know exactly, sadly, i didnt get one decent hand, except KQo, where i lost vs A9s, one blind battle, and my last hand ATs vs 22, where i actually decided not to call, but the guy was pretty loose, so well, got 7th place yet again^^ out of 5 times, i went 4 times to the ft, and every time i would have gotten into the money, if those last hands would have holded or hit. just as a tip, just play tight, thats all you gotta do

buyin has to be high enough to make it a decent alternative to the cash games...

Hi, I've been trying to play on pokerstars for awhile but I have no idea how to deposit/withdraw money on stars account. I can't use my korean debit card or us debit/credit card. So am I supposed to use a third party money transfer sites to deposit? Also even if I did that, how would i withdraw the money?

Is there only ever one game running at 7 luck in gangdam I been there 2 times now and only ever seems to be 1 table of 2/5 running? Mind you was on sunday afternoon and wednesday evening.
I been to walker hill and seems like a better setup,is there more action there and better table selection or just better at 7 luck?

From the brief time I was there, 7luck has 1 table of 2/5 everyday and sometimes even two tables (both 2/5)

Walker has a few tables running daily of 1/2 and weekends it'll spread 2/5 also.

well got my first taste of walker hill this evening
wow what a game was only playing the 1/2 but seems more like a 2/5 game was at least raised to 15 preflop every hand.
was super aggressive, a few sucks outs, lots of re-buys which was good.
ended up losing 500 just didn't adjust to the table very well and then shoved on the hyper aggressive guy who been raising every hand and the one time he's got it I Donked my stack to him.
overall was a great game certainly money to be made there
cant wait to be back

In my experience 2/5 is just as volatile and just as poor across the board with maybe half the table having any consistent idea what they're doing. Olds and fish comprise the other half. Plays closer to 5/10. If you have the roll I'd be aiming for that ASAP.

Hey, Bob (if you still lurk)

I had a trusted buddy who loves Seoul and Korea both who took a short trip down to Masan (followed a woman obv) for a weekend and came back with much the same review of it that you had. You may have just had a terrible city draw in your time here.

Selling a Herman Miller Embody for $600

Leaving the country on Tuesday so will need to work something out pretty fast - I live in Yeoksam area and can help arrange delivery.

(same chair as a couple pages back, ended up staying in Seoul a bit longer than I thought and am reposting this + contacting all interested buyers from before)

I'm still here loose.

Definitely a bad draw. Seemed like every other city I went to in South Korea was better than Masan (though Pohang was pretty damn bad). Even the super small ones seemingly in the middle of nowhere such as Samcheok had a certain bit of charm to them.

Yeah I saw it running tonight wow looks insane was one guy with about 9500 and a few other with 6000+ don't think I ever seen a game that deep. Even the ones is macau seem shallow to seoul.
Is there even a max buy in for these games ? I was playing and this guy bought in for maybe 7500 1000 bb was just crazy. The amount of times I see people buy in for 500 bb is simply mind boggling. I never seen so many bad player just shoving there money in

I love it
