Re: Ask me about poker in Iran

I thought much of Iran's population was pretty moderate and there was a healthy middle class. But that doesn't make a good headline, so it's hard to know.

Re: Ask me about poker in Iran

I think most ppl misunderstood his post (btw the earthquake wasn't near the capital) I'm not recommending anyone move out here. Just wanted to share what I've seen. Yes women are forced to wear hijabs in public, but when they come inside and strip down to their birthday suit you forget all about the bs politics. Ppl make it sound much crazier than it really is here. I don't feel at risk when I drink or play. The cops aren't allowed to just bust your door open and take you away. There are precautions that everyone takes here that you don't worry about in the states... Guess that's the price you pay for playing with fish

P.S. Please don't compare Iran with North Korea. I tilt my face off when ppl do that.

Re: Ask me about poker in Iran

My dad is from Iran and I've visited there. Unfortunately I went when I was younger and didn't get to experience the drug filled orgy parties that are so famous over there. And I'm not exaggerating, many friends have confirmed they spray ecstasy in the air, and you'll see girls getting gang banged. Plus, the mansions over there are SICK. We had a friend that had a house near Golestan and it was ridiculous. BTW, is Boof Burger still there?

After reading this I'm down to roll out there again. The people are the most hospitable in the world, the girls are pretty, food is bomb, and everything is relatively cheap. Now that you're telling me about the poker I'm really licking my chops...

Night life should be fun and for sure there are many activity to do. You could be attacked, taken hostage, u could see suicide bomber, Hezbollah may like you or go in jail till the rest of your life for a bottle of beer. Sounds fun if u like variance :P

Iran sounds like a country where ur 50/50 to survive, but with 2 outs

Re: Ask me about poker in Iran

They are either gonna drop billions of dollars worth of bombs on Iran soon, or they are gonna keep threatining to do so so they could make trillions of dollars in profit just off the weapon sales

bad time to go to Iran imo

Kim Jong-il once played poker, he got dealt 16 royal flushes and successfully bluffed on multiple occasions with 27o.

He still couldn't beat Tony G though.
