I apologize if this has been covered before. I have tried reading the entire thread but it is massive and I'm not even half way through yet.
I mentioned earlier in the thread that I think "the Philippines is probably the best place for Korean food outside of Korea due to all the Koreans here."
But I think it depends on the area. I live in Makati and my area is like a Koreatown. There are 4 supermarkets within like a 10 minute walk and countless Korean restaurants nearby.
The ones I regularly go to are:
까치분식 (on General Luna Street): 돈까스, 보끔밥, 오므라이스, 떡볶이, 순대, etc.
서울 숯불갈비 (on General Luna Street): 갈비
민속 (on Don Pedro Street): 삼겹살
인왕산 (Inwangsan Hotel Restaurant): 짜장면, 짬퐁, 탕수육, other Chinese food
Then there are places like Kaya, BBQ Chicken, Dong Won Garden, one place in A.Venue Mall that specializes in 떡볶이, and probably like a dozen others.
I believe Ortigas, Malate and Quezon City have their own Koreatowns but not really sure to what extent.
