Anyone to ask about living in the Philippines? - Page 481

So you just use your peso account for withdrawals? Or your USD account? Im assuming that you're using BDO account. Since we both have bad experience on BPI.

By the way. im cashed out from stars. I think they're sending Euros instead of USD. So I still dont know if having a USD account is better over PHP account. Sorry im not a bank guy.

Well the reason i first opened BPI was that BDO had some deposid/withdrawal fees if you used some other branch than the one you opened the account(like if you opened yours in cebu and then deposid in Manila, you have to pay something) which BPI don't have to... So since i play live poker, i still use BPI to keep my pesos... But never again will i wire money to it from abroad(where i will use BDO or some other method instead). Yea i also tried to open euro account at BPI and BDO... But that wasn't so simple(foreigners can't open, they don't have euros etc.)

You can see it on resort's world site... just about 4rides a day... like every 3hours only

Was discussing this at the casino and most people seemed to think this wouldn't affect anyone. It's more to target the corrupt gaming sites in philippines that pay no taxes, not to stop people from playing any type of game.

Either way probably still a long time off.

Afaik oversease sites need to coorperate with a country's gouvernment and procede the ban themselves - basically leave a onlinepokermarket - like for instance Stars did unfortunatelly the past few days regards to Israel and Slovenia.

Such an outcome seems in this situation not so likely, because in the first place PH does most likely not really care about foreigner-catered
oversease onlinepoker-sites/gamblingsites, but as said, more so about filippino-based sites...

Im not doing so well in Internet-slang and what not.
But seems to me that you wanna appear here over this topic dramatic or you expect here a a high probability for a negative outcome for online-grinders who are living in the phils?

If so, then what is your reasoning to believe so + what are your info sources on this one?

i have no real reasoning other then a guy who seems to do everything with an iron fist is reported to not like/want to do something about online poker, he doesnt seem like the type of person that does any half measures to me

the US didn't like that companies weren't paying their taxes and we all saw how that played out, not sure why it would be any different here
