curious if anyone that is currently in PI tokes. I know several locals from Cebu but not sure how confident I am in their knowledge that the green is of a good quality there. Looking to take a vacation to a place where i can relax and find some headies or good quality bud. Is this possible in any of the cities or islands?

My best suggestion would be to go up to Sagada in northern luzon, but you still need to be careful.

+1 to Sagada. Heard about the place from my dive master this weekend, it is a mountain province where people apparently grow a ton.

Australian man faces drug charges in Philippines
By Shirley Escalante

Updated 8 hours 41 minutes ago

Map: Philippines

An Australian man and three Britons have been ordered to face trial in the Philippines after they were allegedly found possessing a cannabis product.

The four men - including 19-year-old Australian man Arthur Murray Nash - were arrested in the capital Manila on January 13 and have since been in custody.

Hashish and pieces of rolling paper were reportedly confiscated from the accused when arrested, but they denied being in possession of the drug.

The Australian and the Britons allegedly tested positive for methamphetamine use in a subsequent drug check.

They face life imprisonment if found guilty of the charges.

Yeah I've met the Aussie a few times. I'm surprised this made the press knowing the background of the people involved.

@Dmalloy, As in they are frequent drug users or something to that effect?

Life imprisonment sounds heavy for the crime. I have heard that Meth usage here is taken extremely seriously so I wonder if the positive test for it influenced the sentence.

Was more along the lines of these guys aren't tourists and there families aren't short of money or connections. So am surprised its ended up in the newspapers. It's pretty obvious he likes bananas but it's just strange it hit the press.

I was there last year, didnt do any spliff though. Is a good place for trekking, make sure you see Banaue and Batad too if your going up there.

Is a long bus journey up winding mountain passes with HUGE drop offs, I nearly **** myself several times on the journey up there. Also don't bother in the wet season as the weather is horrible up there apparently and there can be problems with the roads at that time of year with the rain etc.

Well if you wanna sound like a ******ed-****tard-****** try using the word 'bananas' as some secret cool 2+2 code word for weed/hash.

M3th is also a great way of throwing the authorities off course when referring to methamphetamine, lol those silly cops that monitor the 2+2 forum users overseas via Interpol, will never be able to figure that one out.

Hi all,

In the Phils right now. Im American. Lets say I get a 6 month lease from somewhere. How difficult will ACR > bank account > back on pokerstars be? Is that the correct order of operations? Left my freakin birth cert and SS card home. Heard ACR is easier with those documents. How are folks from America depositing?

All you need is a passport for ACR.

Ty for the responses. Nobody really gave any info pertaining to the quality tho? Any clue if the guys in the mountains are growing quality bananas lol.

As for the guys who got arrested...were they in possession of a large quantity or was it just their personal stash? Phil law is very strict on marihuana possession?

all asian countries are strict on possession, if you get caught try and pay off the fine (ie bribe) on the spot, from the sounds of that article it doesnt seem like they had to much on them

i wouldnt expect to find any quality anywhere over here, if you have high expectations you are gonna be disappointed, would guess hash would be a better option

from what ive heard (never been but did a lot of reading up on this) its very easy to find in sagada and relatively safe to use it there (but still be careful) but its very risky to try and bring any out of the city cops know people go there to get it and are on the lookout

Usually they'll want you to have an ACR card, and in some cases also a bill under your own name (from own experience BDO are the "hardest"), sometimes even a PERMANENT status ACR card (thats what the guy at BDO requested last I went there, whatever the **** a permanent ACR card is..). Mine that says TOURIST obv wasn't enough.

Anyway easier to probably go with any of the other banks. AFAIK Metrobank is among the easiest to open a bank account, but you might have to look around a bit until you find one that will accept you opening a bank account without an ACR card, but eventually you should be able to find one.

I doubt she cares tbh, it's not like you need to impress her. If your a poker player just say you work on Internet.

Obviously it doesn't matter in the long run but for short term conversion you have to say something and to enhance the experience and level of potential performance there might be a best answer. For example you can see it in a girls eyes light up if your staying at a 5 star hotel compared to a flea infested dump. Potentially the same theory applies here? Also I'm interested in experience from someone saying they are police officer as their understanding of high ranking officials in their country could weigh interactions in a different direction. Positive or negative I'm unsure about.

Lol fair enough. But I shall be taking the piss out of anyone that has actually bothered to lie to a bar girl to impress them.

Lies are the basis of any interaction with bar girls imo
