never tried to do visa cebu airport

about cabs , avoid all the normal hustlers trying to get you a cab when you come out

last time i landed there , when you come out of building, i went to the right and there was a guard taking the taxi cabs number and helping people in, probably the best bet.

yes, you need to extend visa beyond 21 days given on arrival. have a good time.

Is that also possible at Cebu airport? Fwiw I'm staying for a little under 2 months and have booked a return flight but I assume I still have to get it done...

Thanks

Also, any cabs I should avoid at Cebu Airport?
Ask on the way in mate, I paid for the extension on my way out albeit in Manila, but that was the advice of the immigration officer when I arrived, she just said do it after, but you are there longer than I was, I was only there for just under a month. There was no difference in cost, think I paid around 2k in total, but I forget precisely.

Some of the hotels will sort out an extension for you too, you just pay a little on top, that is what a couple of my friends I met up with did. Tbh if your there for 2 months it will probably be easy for you to just pop to the immigration office anyway.

if there is no waiting line there , believe it is best ( look straight across when you come out of building ) if you get a cab on the other floor. Just walk up the gangway on the other side of the road .

Pretty hard to choose a place in Manila, been grinding sulit for 2 days already Makati is the most convinient area i guess, cause you can play both in resorts world and metro. Any tips for a fish like me are very welcome

How often are you going to be grinding? I wouldn't live in Makati if you're going to be grinding everyday. Ortigas (between Megamall and Metrowalk) or Crossing (10min jeep to Metrowalk, 20min jeep to Midas Touch, 2 rides to RW) would be much more convenient.

Will be playing every single day, about 10 hours a day on average. The best location and easiest place for booking I've found so far is this http://manila.en.craigslist.com.ph/apa/3041131248.html

That's kinda far from Metrowalk (1.2km) and that area is kinda inconvenient for getting around. Use Google Maps and try to find something between Megamall and Metrowalk.

Arrived in one piece, although my suitcase was another story But did manage to get that after a while.

Does anybody know a chef in Cebu who's available for the next two months?

LOL I wouldn't be relying on a filipino to cook for you, I think the food there is pretty much the worst thing about the the phils from my visit.

It would be daily for those two months. So not just for one occasion.

YMMV. I had some excellent home cooked meals while I was there. And in Cebu there were plenty of ethnic restos around. Find one you like and ask their chef imo.

I really am in two minds about this. I cant yet say either way for my own opinion guess i need to spend more time with them. On the looks front I don't find them as cute as Thai girls and they all seem to have bulbous eyes where the Thai girls are more chinesey around the eyes, however they have better asses!

what are your guys's's thoughts on pooters asia tower suggestion? i know greenbelt is like the nicest area.... is that place close to the mall do u know poot?
I am not sure why you say for my sake?

If it was in reference to my saying i think your making a mistake going to PI over Thailand, then i can clarify.

The reason i think it is a mistake to choose PI has nothing to do with you being a first time traveler or the fact PI is more 3rd world than Thailand. It is simply because Thailand beats PI hands down on everything you want (apart from live poker which i don't think is that important if you can grind online).

Thailand (with Pattaya in mind) ticks every box you have and more than that has boxes ticked you don't even know exist yet!

PI and Thailand are not even close to comparable apart from the fact they are both in S.E Asia I can almost guarantee you no matter how long you spend in PI the DAY you get to Pattaya you will kick yourself and live with the regret of not going there first, for the rest of your life.
