We have a place in Bali for now and then will have 1 month to travel
We would like to do beaches and resorts. Solid internet important but it doesnt have to be excellent speed. Obviously would like some site seeing and tourist stuff. Dont want it to be too travel heavy, maybe 4-6 spots. Not a bunch of long bus rides etc. Mostly flying and shorter bus/ferry rides
Even just a highly recommended town here and there would be helpful
Bali internet not the best as I remember, but maybe it has gotten better.
Check out Ubud if you havent already. We did a bike tour and white water rafting thing both from an agency in Ubud that were both amazing. Both were in the neighborhood of 30euro each, food included.
Also, Gili T is worth a visit if you dont mind the boat ride over. Magic mushroom drinks are available at a few bars on the beach. Quite a nice experience, but if drugs aren't your thing then its still a great place to visit.
Stayed 2 nights in Kuta beach, and I wouldn't recommend that. Very dirty and street sales people wont leave you alone.
Obv not if you both aren't into that kind of thing. I can think of lots of couples that would be fine doing it, obviously just personal preference. Regardless, I'd highly recommend Gili T drugs or no drugs.
Yeah I highly recommend gili T to anyone reading this but i dont want to go somewhere with my GF that reminds me how awesome it is to be single. Pattaya and the full moon party are also off the list. This is why i need help
vietnam with the gf was great. lots to see and do and wide variety of things as well that keeps things and interesting the whole time. from sand dunes to beach resorts to waterfalls to history/war stuff to great food... although if beaches is your priority I'd suggest thai or philippines, both of which have amazing islands of every sort (and also plenty that aren't straight hedonistic playgrounds)
Yeah i've done vietnam by motorcycle and it was amazing. I think the difficulty is long bus rides but that could be wrong. What beach and resort areas would you recommend?
