I know that Internet Texas Holdem offers books to US residents. Can't 2+2 use the same legal argument they do? Or is it just a gray area that is untested and currently too risky? Would the program be likely to accept US players if the UIGEA bill was pushed back a year?

The book bonus is part of a referral program, and people in the US can't play on the sites which 2+2 works with.

This has to do with our legal advice. We would certainly like to offer this promotion to everyone, but at this time the advice we have received is not to do it. If it changes in the future, then our Bonus Books Program will also change.
