Just a note that for Party Poker, you need to enter the bonus code on the account signup page, and NOT on the deposit screen when you make your first deposit.

I signed up a month or two ago to play using free chips to see if I liked the Party interface (I do), but I must have missed the signup page code when creating a new play account.

Unfortunately, the account creation code is the key. I haven't actually made my first deposit yet, so this isn't a tragic

(continued), but I really wanted to try out Party rather than the other affiliates. I've emailed Party and asked them to change it. Its a longshot, but since I actually haven't deposited, I suppose there is a faint hope that they will do it.

Just thought I'd throw this out there for anyone else considering using Party for the book deal. Make sure you put the code in the right spot.

Also note, that over the past couple months, the deal seems to have changed from 5 to 15 party points to clear the books - still entirely do-able, and not a showstopper by any means, but just an FYI for anyone like me who "takes a while to make a decision". :-)

I've recently started playing at Party.
I used the pokernews promo and have a $25 bonus being worked, but the rate comp points are accumulated is incredibly slow in comparison to other sites I've used.

I used that pokernews promo for the no deposit bonus of $50. but nothing came of it...im not sure what has to be done but I cant figure it out at all... when i emailed party they said it was an issue to take up with pokernews not with them any idea?

i used $25 bonus too. it worked for me.
but i dont like their room.

Try harder in your mails.

I would just say gimme bonus or I sign up at FTP.....(maybe write it a bit more tactical but this would be the main point)

it's a fact, you got to play your ass off on party to clear bonus. ub, stars or ft if you are bonuswhore.

YA so i did send off a few emails, party told me it was outside company pokernews promise so not there problem and for me to contact them...contacted pokernews but never ended up getting email back so i gave up and now just keep playing on pokerstars

I think party poker is actually very good with its bonus's they gave me 50 bux for nothing and i just cashed it out after i had grinded through the party points.

im going back a few years, but when i joined party i got a match up bonus on my first deposit, $400 ..... i then played loads in there casino over a weekend and ended up with 23,000 points and the $400 had been cleared.

but i did bet a lot, i think i was getting 1 point per $27 spent in the casino, some how i spun $400 in to $13k and then cashed out $7.5k, after giving loads back.... but i was playing for 10 hours or so.

parts good for bonuses im still on my first $100 just keep rollin and using there random poker and casino bonuses

So party poker still offers a 400$ first deposit match sign up bonus. I have never played there before so I am thinking on clearing this bonus.

Has anyone cleared only playing poker MTT's only, I don't do Casino games?

All Bonuses become more difficult to clear playing MTTs. you just wont get the Rake volume needed.

Is it still possible to bonus whore the casino like the old days?

I can only go by research as I have yet to actually deposit. I have played at online Slots if that's what you mean. I found the deposit is gone long before you can clear the play through. I thought Poker might give one a better chance to get some of a bonus. I Read that MTTs would not be good to play through for the bonus. They don't give enough time for the Rake you would need to pay. I don't know about the old days but the bonus system at the Casinos is bullocks in my opinion.

The party poker bonus is BY FAR the easiest one on the list to complete. It literally took me about 2-3 hours total of grinding 4NL fastforward to get the required 15 points. I'd say WH is second easiest

15 points, you are talking about another bonus with alot less requirements.

For my 500$ welcome bonus:

It is released in 50$ chunks, need 400 Poker points to release one of those chunks. 10 Chunks at 400 points for a total of 4000 points to release in its entirety

I got about 200 of those points from tournament rake

And the rest playing roughly 700 hands of 0.25-0.50 cash (just over 60$ USD in rake according to HEM2)

So it does add up...

But If i were just to play strictly MTT's and SNG I have to pay $2000 in rake to clear that entire $500 bonus, so a measly 25% rake back for you first deposit bonus.

Is that a standard % for poker deposit bonuses ?

Old days meaning, you deposit $500, they give you a $500 bonus. Obviously you can't just cashout the bonus, you need to clear it. Let's say they have a wager requirement of 25x, so you would need to wager a total of $12,500 in the casino to release the bonus. And all you would have to do was play blackjack(lowest house edge game) using optimal strategy and flat-bet $2 a hand or whatever you wanted. And since you're playing with the casinos bonus money, if you lost that, you could just stop and cashout your original $500.

Super +EV, easy moniez, those were the golden days. Not sure if you can do that now.

Party poker offers bonuses, but $400 you will get if yu make deposit at least for the $800 and then will fulfill the condition at bets. For example bet the bonus sum about 15 times. Or I`m mistaken?
