Recommendations..

Hi guys, I'm basically new to cash games, only played a little in the micro stakes. Which books are best to pick up from the bonus program to improve my game?

The Harrington on Cash games books are very good, and aimed at beginning to intermediate players. They would be a good place to start if you are looking at no-limit holdem cash games.

Sound advice, HoC is pretty good. Just note though that it is aimed largely at full ring games, but the fundamentals it teaches will stand you in good stead in the majority of games imo.

I'd also highly recommend Theory of Poker and NL hold em Theory and Practice once you get to grips with the basics. In section B, Mason's books are a little outdated, but I still found them really valuable and interesting, even though they tend to focus on limit HE as well as the other variants

Re: Recommendations..

This one is really not that good but I do like it

"Championship No-limit and pot-limit hold 'em" by TJ Cloutier and Tom McEvoy

Or you can try this one, I read it when I started playing and it gave me a whole new perspective of Poker.. I think you may like it

"The Complete Book Of Hold 'Em Poker: A Comprehensive Guide to Playing and Winning" by Gary Carson

So.. After you finished reading the previous ones you can then go read this one, which is one of my favorites:

"Harrington on Hold 'em Expert Strategy for No Limit Tournaments, Vol. 1: Strategic Play" by Dan Harrington

This last one is totally awesome!! One of the best books I have read so far!

Re: Recommendations..

I'm having some trouble choosing too. I'm playing 25nl and I'm thinking about moving up. I also like to play some MMTs (like everyone else?.
The only book I have from the list is The Teory of Poker.

My plan is:
Hold'em Teory and Practice
Harrington on Cash 1 and 2

but nothing after that... Suggestions?

Thank you all
