I was just wondering if the Poker Time details are up to date? Because on the twoplustwo details page it says you need 4 times the deposit amount to earn that particular bonus. However on the pokertime site it says it's only 2x. "To redeem this bonus, all you need to do is play and earn poker points equal to 2 times the bonus amount." (2p2 says "PokerTime – up to $500 Bonus
Make your first deposit with PokerTime and you will receive a 100% match bonus up to $500. To redeem this bonus, play and earn poker points equal to 4 times the bonus amount. ")

I'm assuming the info at Poker Time's site is correct. Anyway I just wanted to confirm 200 is the amount of points needed to complete the twoplustwo book bonus. Thanks. The only thing is the rake at Poker Time is awesomely low (only pots $5+ are raked at 1c/20c) but that also means for a micro stakes player like myself (usually 10NL) even multitabling this bonus will be quite hard to clear.

Because I may decide to stop playing at Poker Time due to the above (I actually like the software and the rake is awesome but the traffic is a bit too low for my liking) I want to also ask about withdrawal.
I PMed the rep already but I'm really hoping you don't need to earn 50 poker points before making a withdrawal? On the site it's worded like this only applies to the $10 bonus, that is you can only withdraw this $10 bonus if you have 50 poker points. I'm assuming my initial deposit can be withdrawn, otherwise this forced play is extremely unfair.. and probably not even legal??

Thanks in advance.

I've had more or less the same withdrawal issue, which was solved to my satisfaction by the PokerTime rep, Pieter. I assume he'll be in touch with you when he reads your PM.

Hi Clay,

I sent you a pm on this issue, if there is anything else that you'd like me to look into, pm me and we can have a chat, we definately want you as a player on PokerTime.

Best,
Pieter

Just so everyone knows Pieter did PM me and was extremely helpful and professional. I have however decided to temporarily withdraw my balance on Poker Time as the points required for the bonus are a bit too high compared to what spare time I currently have.

However everyone should note Poker Time has extremely low rake, at least for micros. This is because only pots of $5 or more are raked, at the standard 5% (1c for every 20c in pot). As I only play 25NL (at most, usually 10NL) accumulating the points necessary for this bonus is going to take a while.

I will however be back on Poker Time in the near future, and would recommend Poker Time. The software is also quite nice, not sure if others would agree but I really like the software and based on my experiences at Everest, Party Poker and FTP I would rank Poker Time's software the highest. (I prefer Stars software the most though).

The only downside to Poker Time is the traffic is a bit low, meaning sometimes it was a little difficult finding tables as fast as I would have liked to, especially if I was playing 4-6 tables.

All the best to you Pieter and Poker Time and I will be back eventually. If anyone has any questions about my experiences of Poker Time, as a player who is free from bias please feel free to ask here or by PM.

Thanks

Ummm, you'd probably need to do some working out but if you are paying lower rake than on other sites won't you come out ahead even without the bonus because of your higher winrate? IF you really like the software that much surely it's worth looking into.

Traffic is mainly the issue. I like the software but still prefer Stars' software. I usually play 10 tables or more and on Poker Time that currently isn't really possible. But yes in the future, especially if traffic increases I will very likely go back, at least to clear the bonus - if not for longer.

poker time deposit bonus is something like 125% of rb, i play mainly cash but at this site i grind 10 euro sngs and it cleares quit well.
Only thing is their sng payment is bad .. 5 players and 3 playes get paid so it is pretty hard to grind profit on sngs alone but with bonus it's pretty profitable.

but quality of players are like wow .. i can only imagine the poker golden days but if the players were even close to this .. with better structure its a gold mine

Agree with the above, although traffic is the main problem. Also with the ladder bonus it's even better.

Can we get an answer to this?

I can confirm 10 points = $5 so you need 2x the points. Don't know about the books though and whether you need 200 or not though. I would recommend Poker Time in general though, nice software and as said above 125% rakeback (or more if you include ladder), seems pretty soft too tbh. 5 man sngs interesting - as said probably lower roi since your advantage isn't as big over fish but lowish variance even in turbo/super turbo since 3rd+ including rake is profit.

Could it not be the case that signing up with the 2+2 bonus code alters the number of points needed per dollar?

What has happened to the pokertime bonus? Disappeared from the list?

Just an extra little testimonial about PokerTime, it was absolutely a thrill to play there but as mentioned above the traffic was the main issue. Nothing but good about their support though!

They got to hit 2p2 before i did..

No you are not, Pokertime employee. You are lowest i ever experienced, and i played on 20+ sites.
***THERE IS NO, ADVERTISED, FDP ON THIS SMALL SKIN, FOR A WINNING PLAYER. THEY WILL JUST NOT CREDIT IT***
- I took '5$ free' of this small site and ran it up to 200e. After depositing minimal 10.. they will just not award me the FDP. For 10 e.
Treatment / responses i experienced about this issue... once again, tops the absurdity and insolence known, even in online gambling.

One hour of gibberish generic responses and 'ill be right with you' later

After i threatened them to hit the forums with this joke, two days later they sent me an email
"Great news, we added the bonus to your account!". They added 2e to my account.
I am playing blaze through all this, and i would clear it 5 times already, so they will just not credit me the 10e, more, no no i already made too much...
Seriously, it is not about 10e... for, me.. ? Its principles, its about

-No they are not, they are rock bottom of internet poker, they are dirtier than Belladona (Bella i love ya) , and unlike to her i am disgusted to share a planet with lifeforms, like you. There is no place in internet poker for people who over such absurd things run it ridiculously and plain insultingly like you do.

Star's software is good but i love the excitement to play at PokerTime. If the traffic is the issue then you can always go back and forth to check if it increases.
