Re: thank you

How much did you deposit? Didn't you have to play hundreds of 25FR/50FR hands to get the 100 MPPs?

I deposited $300 and probably played about 1,000 hands, perhaps a bit more. I'm not sure on the exact number.

You get a quarter of a MPP for every raked hand where the pot reaches $5, so that's only 400 of them needed. That is without taking into consideration that you get a full MPP on a $20 pot, which really helps you towards your total.

So you get 0.25 MPP just for being dealt in that hand, even if it wasn't you who won the $5 pot? Did you have to use most of your $300 deposit before you got 100 MPPs? It seems almost impossible to clear 100 MPPs with a deposit of $20. Thanks for replying.

Yes, it was just for being dealt into the hand. The reason I deposited $300 was to enable me to play 2 or 3 tables of NL50 at a time. It wasn't a case of how much of it would I use to get the 100 MPP's, as I ended up with $380 when I'd finished.

I think you'd be hard pushed to do it with $20. You could shortstack a NL50 table but you're leaving yourself with no other option than to reload if you get stacked, so you may as well pay in more to begin with.

Thank you note

I received my books yesterday (24 June)!

Signed up to PartyPoker on 1 June. Cleared the bonus at 25NL and got the email to choose my books on 6 June.

It only took 18 days after selecting my books to receive it and I live in South Africa.

Thank you very much. This bonus offer is excellent.

Re: Thank you note

I also wan't to say thanks for the excellent service from the 2+2 Bonus Program. I cleared the 1.300 points on Paddy (iPoker) in an evening. The books are a great reward for this IMO.

Unfortunately I didn't get the first deposit bonus from Paddy, and customer service there was the most unfriendly that I have ever met during my few years playing. So unfortunately its unlikely that I will play there again.

This is the second batch of Bonus Books I've received, and I would love to take more since there are at least 6 books I'd still want to have from the A-list. BTW, have you ever considered having a promo for signed books? Since I'd really love to get copies signed by the authors..

Anyway, thanks for the good service and please use more Las Vegas news paper for packaging since I like to read them

Shipping to germany and thanks!

First of all I want to tahnk 2+2 for the nice offer and the great fast handling. I just got my books, which took some weeks, but considering the info from the sites comes just every couple of weeks and Germany is not the nearest location to ship to, it was very well and I am looking forward to maybe do another one of these some day.

Additionally I want to give some info the Germans clearing these bonuses and to 2+2 about my experience. I had, like some other people, to pickup my books at the custom office. You get this nice paper, where they inform you to bring the bill and get your stuff.

I searched the forum and found out that people had the same issue and that printing out the bonus page was enough to get the books without any further problems. At our custom office however they told me that, if they would take things very precisely , they would have to charge me. This was because of the bill that was put inside the package, which I had to open. To quote the nice lady: "Well, they wanted to be nice and put a bill inside and now we have a problem."

Gladly I did not have to pay anything. They just said: "Ok, I take this (the bonus page) and just give the books to you." But if I understood everything right, it was more of a favor they did to me and this could not be relied upon.

I am no lawyer or whatsoever, but wanted to tell the community, just in the case there are measures that could be taken to avoid future problems.

Received my books

This forum, for obvious reasons, often gets sideloaded with more 'bad' than 'good' posts regarding the book bonus.... so i thought i would post this.

Signed up for Titan on June 15th.
Completed the required points around June 30th (1250.. i played 20nl though, so it was slow going)
Got an email from 2+2 on July 11th to pick my books
Received books in the mail (in BC, Canada) on July 21st

Thank you.

EDIT: also, i pm'ed Kiera about my status, and she was fast to respond, as was the 2+2 support (less than a day)

2-10-25

I registered for 2+2/Everest Poker on July 2.

I recieved confirmation and ordered my books on July 10.

I got my books this morning on July 25.

Fantastic.

I'm very happy with this program. Thanks to all the 2+2 people who set it up and saw it through. You're the bee's knees.

I'm going to do it again.
