There also seems to be some confusion if the formula for rakeback is rakeback = rake x 30% - bonus or rakeback = (rake - bonus) x 30%. Can you clarify ?

+ point for shop
+ rakeback
+ freerolls etc as advertised on pkr.com

or if some of these eliminates the others.

And as far as I understand the bonus is all or nothing - so we have to estimate roughly how big a bonus we can clear with a safety margin and then settle for that rather than take the full amount and get nothing ?

And the last question. Is the signup bonus 100% or 120% up to $800 ?

- the 2+2 PKR signup bonus is 120% up to $800
- RB will be (rake - bonus) x 30%. Any bonus achieved will be deducted from net rake before a rakeback calculation is made (ie. if you rake $1,000 but your $800 bonus is released, your net rake is $200 and rakeback @ 30% is $60

Bonus are paid once the full PKR Points requirement has been met - not incrementally. So you should calculate a suitably sized bonus/points requirements rather than simply going for the maximum $800. You have 60 days to achieve the PKR Points requirements.

Any PKR Points earned will be credited to your Points balance and be available for use in the PKR Shop, even if they are still used towards a bonus. We just keep track of how many you have earned and release your bonus once the requirement has been reached. If you spend any points during that time, they have still contributed towards your bonus requirement. You can check your bonus progress any time in the cashier.

Bonuses and rakeback do not affect your access to freerolls, the PKR Shop etc.

Thanks for your prompt reply, Most of it is clear now, though I think 4 things still remain a bit unclear to me.

There is no relationship between points and rakeback. You get both points that can be used in the shop and rakeback directly to your account. So the true return for paying the rake is higher than the 30% rakeback.

Second, do you need to do something special to get the rakeback or do you get it automatically when depositing ?

Third, do the points earned count both towards the books and towards the signup bonus at the same time or which one is to be earned first ?

And last (at least for now), what value do the books have in your rakeback calculation, if any (they are also a bonus, I presume) ?

I was wondering if there are going to be any promotions for cash-game players because almost all of the promotions are for tournaments. Something like a rakerace or rakechase could be very interesting.

Hi there. Sorry to have confused you in my earlier post - my head was not screwed on correctly that day. If you take advantage of the 2+2 signup bonus, you will be affiliated to 2+2, and there is no rakeback available with that offer as far as I know. That will also precude you from using another affiliate. So you won't be able to get the books and rakeback. Sorry about that.

In terms of earning points towards the bonus and the book, the points count towards both simultaneously. The bonus and the book are not prioritised or related. Once you have earned 3,500 PKR Points, 2+2 will contact you re:books. If your bonus requires 7,000 PKR Points to be earned, you're already half way there too.

As for the value of the books, I have no idea I'm afraid. The books are provided by 2+2, so it's not in our own calculation.
