If a second account is opened under the same IP address for FT with a different name (wife) will this negate her ability to get rake if she signs up with affiliate but the first account is ineligible.

i made a 2nd account on FT from same house/same ip a while back and within a while FT closed it and told me to play on my original account. luckily i never deposited in the 2nd one, dunno what they would have done with the money.

I've heard quite opposite stories from ppl having 2 accounts on FT(2nd with rakeback). They had no problems, registering it on their wifes etc. Sometimes FT asks for Government Issued ID to prove, that second account holder is another person, so maybe u just should to write them a letter to ask for permission? Did u registered 2nd account on the same name/email?

if you provide all of the documents for proof then there should NOT be a problem with this...but you never know with poker sites these days

I did it without any problems bc I emailed support and had her email support from her address once she set up an account. My account doesn't have rb but the other account does. Simply told them that we shared a laptop and they had no issues.

I've had a partners account suspended before because of a transfer of funds from one to the other and having logged on with the same IP address, even as suspicious as our actions may have looked all they asked for was for some ID proofs which were passport, copies of our deposit methods, and proof of address. Better the security is place even at the inconvinience i feel, we want our money to be safe and safe against who we play with

In all honesty the best policy in situations like this is to contact support and let them know the details, very often they are left to make a judgement call and if it looks in any way dodgy then they will shut it down, its then a little more difficult to get opened again as there will normally be a few more hoops to jump through.

If your situation is genuine of course they will want you both to play but by the same token for every genuine case there are 2 that are not.
