WSOP 1500$ NL, KK vs weird flop donk over bet

Table is soft after Isildur busted vs villain few hands before the break.

In that on a hand Villain called a raise pre from SB, donked 70% J86dd board, donked again 600 on a 2c and called a big raise from Isildur, river d e gg Isildur who was committed.

Second hand after second break, 100-200 effective stacks 9k.
My image, if it matters at all, must be of a solid TAG, my two only showdowns were with AA e 99 vs two shorts.

I raise KhKc to 475 from the CO e Villain calls from the SB.

POT 1150

FLOP 8h9h2d

Villain bets 1650! Hero?

what the guy above me said but i think go less like 3.6 if you want to induce a shove .
I honestly don't think you have much to be worried about in this spot and you should be looking to maximize your value from this donk .

cib/c i guess, calling and getting it in on good turns is solid option as well.

How is this flop weird, IMO it includes three different calls of which none are uno cards?

RAISE then CALL

I think he's talking about the bet, not the flop. Def raise/all-in.

Pile. Not a fan of raise/calling since I have pretty much zero bluffs in my raise/x range with these stacks so I dont think id have a r/x range. Call/shove turns I would also do some of the time for some reasons.

More likely to call if i hold Kh because you still have a lot of equity on heart turns and it lets him tool out.

I'm not too worried about balancing against people who don't know what the concept of balancing is.

CIB. People go crazy when you minraise.

ya just shoving here is best I think. Get called by all draws/9x type of hands and very rarely beat. And I dont have a r/f range here so r/c sucks

Re: WSOP 1500$ NL, KK vs weird flop donk over bet

If we're playing a good reg we have history with, obv balancing is important. However, I don't think it matters if we have any bluffs in our cib/call range vs. a random we have never played with before. It's not like he can read our mind. I guess the argument is that he could perceive we probably don't have any bluffs in our cib/call range and play better vs. us as a result... but that feels kinda far-fetched to me. Exploitative > balanced in this spot IMO

lol, owned.

I'd want to play for stacks, would flat flop if I'd think he'd fold top pair to a cib/R/jam, and choose whatever raising option I think is best if he's not folding. I would ignore draws, because with him overbetting the min draw I'd expect him to have would be a flush draw with an overcard, so the money is going in regardless, esp since we have a Kh. So yeah, I'd put him on like TT and play according to his tendencies.
