Re: Weird river spot where I consider a lot of options

I don't understand the c/f logic and also don't like c/c. I don't think a lot of players tend to float on the very early stages and the only hand he can turn into bluff is T9. I think bet ~90% pot and fold to a shove is the best option.

p.s. lol T9 turns into a str8 ok then I clearly don't like c/c

Re: Weird river spot where I consider a lot of options

I like betting about 40% of the pot here and then folding to a re-raise the best. You are beating 55,66,99,10s AJ,JQ,J10 etc all of which could have taken this type of line.

Re: Weird river spot where I consider a lot of options

close one between C/C and bet (1/2 pot) /call...
I agree that V's call range is a problem...., don't like being put in position of having to call a big raise after i bet, so I lean to C/C
don't like any option that includes Folding river here

C/c is good if villain is aggressive and you lose less if you are beat.

Think any line with folding is too weak.
I like C/C best here, lose min if anything.

Re: Weird river spot where I consider a lot of options

I say b/f. There are defintly worse hands he would call with (j7s j8s 78,hero call with QJ, he could acutally have a hand like AK some of the time, tho its very rare obv. ) A normal person would never raise for value with worse on that board..? And at the same time I think its very rare with river bluffs during the first levels of tournaments(15-30 blinds)

So Bet fold.
