I had a similar spot in the bubble of the big 109 other day and I went with AKo and bubbled and all that puts us to think in depth in these situations. I personally think both hands are close spots, but I vote to fold. I dont want to be result orientated, but its because we are risking too much when we can fold and make the money with zero risk. Im not 100% sure, just feel like its better to rather take the money and fold.

Call and 67% of the time you 2.5x your stack then fold in. Your equity when u do is min cash+ equity of new bigger stack in the "new tourney". When u lose it's 0. Calculating new tourney equity is not easy but with some basic asumptions based on size of decreased prize pool we should be able to make decent rough estimations.
Look earlier in the thread. I did some rough calculations and a couple of other people came up with exact answers. Everyone found it was close to $EVeven.

Ugh I messed up numbers slightly. it's very close based on exact % of the field paid and size of the min cash as others have said. Although the fact we are going to have to fold our SB the next hand as well probably leans it slightly towards a call.

You generally are going to have to fold your way into the money whether you double up or not.

Hey,

I'm sorry but folding here is criminal IMO! You have a great spot to double up and then have a decent reshoving stack on the next hand.

I think it comes down to whether you want to risk the min cash in order to make a run at the big money. If you fold here you may as well kiss that big money goodbye (unless you have a hell of a lotta luck).

Guaranteeing a min cash by folding here is almost guaranteeing you don't win the tournament IMO.

To the folders here (which seem to be the majority i must admit), i ask:

If this were a $5.50 tourney for a bubble of $8 would you still be willing to fold???

BTW: no one has mentioned that it is still possible to cash even if you play this hand and lose. There is only 3 left after all...

If this is the only WU you are playing and min cash is important, Fold it.

But if looking at larger picture, ITM% for most players is 14-18%, so that means you will be ITM over a larger sample 1 out 6 times.

IMO when you get ITM, you need to make it count and for that you need chips. Call. And its a decent spot to double up obviously all doubles come with risk.
