should I fold JJ preflop on the sunday million bubble?

Only a couple of ppl away from the money, I have been dealt with JJ, should I fold jj preflop here?

I will definitely fold aks, 88, 99 here. However, I really do not know whether I should fold JJ here, and move into the money first.

Re: should I fold JJ preflop on the sunday million bubble?

It depends, are you in hand for hand already?

How much of your bankroll is a min cash in the million? Did you satty into it?

If you are in hand for hand, and you really want the min cash then the answer is yes, fold everything. H4H will not last beyond this hand, generally.

For instance, if you sattied into it for say $11 and you bankroll is $1,000. A min cash would be $380ish? To me you should fold until you are in the money. The additional boost to your bankroll is worth folding anything for.

If you have a large bankroll and always play the milly then don't fold.

If you dont care about the cash and want to try and run deep then your play is perfect.

It seems chances of shipping it don`t increase dramatically after winning this "flip".

Does it really matter whether you have KK, JJ or 88 with shortstack after 8 hours of donkaments?
Want to get itm - fold everything IMO. Otherwise why folding 88 and AKs?

Re: should I fold JJ preflop on the sunday million bubble?

since you're the CO, if it's h4h i would expect the answer to be fold since folding nets you an ev of near 100% of a mincash and continuing with the hand is but a fraction since he's always calling. i'd assume your ev if you continue and double up is something like the prize pool divided by the number of players left since you'd probably be about average if you double up, and then you'd want to account for whatever edge you have. you would then have to do some sort of math problem to figure out which ev is higher at this point, but i'd just assume my edge is high enough for whatever would be necessary here and try to double up. if the money is important to your bankroll then definitely fold.
