Frequent WSOP min-casher (14 times, nothing more than 40K) finds himself about to start day 2 in 222/274 with 255 getting paid and 15 big blinds.
How specifically should my strategy change at this point from what it would be if we were a long way from the money? I think I can figure it out when we get close, but right now I have a good reshove stack that I would normally be borderline reckless with.
Making the money is ever-so-slightly more important than usual because I told my wife I'd drive home tonight! Quick advice welcome as we start at noon tomorrow.
My new table looks pretty good. I generally have a tight image as I am quite a bit older than average.

You know that it mainly depends on what is more important for you.
Playing only to min cash is clearly -ev.
But of course it will affect your strategy. Shoving and Restealing range will be much tighter of course.

Try to find a good spot double up would be the best advice I can give

OP has probably finished tournament. However, with 15xBB, I would look to reshove over loose opens from big stacks. If you get called or get a hand, maybe you will double up, but I wouldn't look to gamble. If you wind up short into the bubble, I would pick spots to steal, but at some point the mincash becomes important.

The bubble burst surprisingly fast, probably 30 minutes; I shoved once from the SB with As8s and only lost 1/4 my stack.
I doubled up the first hand after the bubble and survived about three hours more.
Thanks for the advice!
