MP seems awfully short for an aggressive player late in the tournament so I'm assuming his past few stabs at the flop haven't gone so well. If this is the case I'd be cautious that he's ready to 4b jam or call a 3b and get it in on most flops. If he were deeper stacked I'd give him less credit for having a decent hand raising from middle position.

I love 3 betting if he's deeper... but I like calling too in this instance. We keep MP and SB's dominated broadway combos in, and we can check/call or raise (depending how vulnerable we think our hand is) the inevitable c-bet when we connect and preserve our stack for the weaker players remaining in the tournaments when we miss.

I don't like shoving as MP will only call us with decent pairs and dominating aces. If we 3bet we fold out most of the same hands while avoiding a potential trap from the SB. Based on images and positions we should be ahead of SB's range also, but it doesn't take a very creative player to flat with a monster in position vs a short stack.

If 3 betting will still leave me room to play on the flop then I usually prefer it as you remain balanced (who overbet jams with AA here?) and if the SB flats you get an opportunity to outplay him on the flop. You could preflop jam into a monster or worse get hero called by AQ and lose.
