Assani, is the BB wearing sunglasses? You say he's tricky, and if he's wearing sunglasses, that typically means he is doubly tricky (most tricky players would just call here, but he raised, so he is obv not on tricky player level 1). Knowing this, I'd flat here to encourage everyone else to come along. If he's gonna play tricky-double-reverse-tricky, we need to out trick him or we'll never be able to take control of the table later in the tourney. Obv the other players make it a bit tougher and we need to be cautious in how we play forward. If they actually hit something, we need to take a line where they all stack off with worse, but at the same time, we need to be able to get them to fold their middle sets and second nut type hands. This is why it's SO KEY for us to gather as many reads as we can preflop for maximum exploiting post!

If he's not wearing sunglasses, I'd play the same but adjust my watch a bit to see if I can reflect some light into his right eye for a better read when the big bets are going in as well as hopefully confuse him a bit.

UTG is a tricky player who limp with monsters and many times will slowplay too much and get himself in trouble. He will also occassionally make moves that are simply weird and pretty unexplainable. He looks at his cards, takes a longer time than usual to act, and min. raises to 400. I have never seen him min. raise or raise from EP.
Cutoff is a middleaged man with only one leg. He has been involved in one noteable pot in which he had a flush draw and one over in a single raised preflop pot and 5 bet all in on the flop. Opponent who had 4 bet him was apparently bluffing and folded. He then showed the semi-bluff. Other than that he has been opening more than his fair share of hands preflop and has displayed standard aggression postflop, but none of his other hands were shown. Button is LP from last hand, here is the read on him(from post #34):

Quote:
Guy in LP is probably one of the weaker players at the table- not because he is reckless, but because he is very predictable. I talked to him before the tourney and found out that he had won his way in through a sattlite and had never played at anywhere near these stakes. And it showed. He was pretty much playing straightforward ABC poker. Pretty much you could believe his bets for what they represented, and you could push him off a marginal hand easily.

Whats your move?

Ok, it seems like most people have had time to give their thoughts, so lets move on....

I re-raise to 2275, CO and BTN both fold, BB insta-calls. Flop 224r, BB checks. Whats your move?

How the **** is this real I read through this whole thread in one go and there's no conclusion.

It took you 7 years to even casually mention that one of the players in the hand died, Jesus this can't be real

Possibly the funniest line in this entire thread and God knows there's lots of pearlers along the way.
